"We had a wonderful stay here for a week in Santa Fe. The house is spacious, really nicely furnished, and the kitchen is the best equipped of any VRBO/AirBnB place I've ever stayed (which is saying a lot.) It is very comfortable, the rooms are nice, and the house just has a really nice feel to it. The houses are fairly far apart here, and the back is completely open land. The views are amazing and wonderful.
It's a little bit of a drive to/from Santa Fe proper (about 20-30 minutes, depending on where in Santa Fe you are going), but the setting and house more than makes up for it - we spent a lot of time hanging out in the house, and it was so quiet and sweet, and a great rest from whatever we were doing.
We had everything we needed, and I'd most definitely stay here again!"

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
After selecting and reserving this home, I drove by while on a business trip and winced at the steep driveway and the distance from the plaza. I almost cancelled. I am so glad I didn't!! The house itself won't be everyone's cup of tea - it does appear to be primarily real adobe - a beautiful material made from mud and straw - and is a little funky in the detailing - light switches and plugs are wedged into the walls, surface plastering is sometimes broken in predictable places on window ledges and at the base of walls and in the kitchen the raw adobe with straw is visible. Cabinets in the kitchen and bath are not modern but very clean and functional. The showers were good and there was plenty of hot water. We loved the house! It was comfortable and welcoming for our family of 5 with good beds and couches. We walked to the plaza and up to St. John's College, but we are big walkers. The kitchen had everything and more than we needed. The house was spotless, the dishwasher set up to run (with soap in place), the coffee maker had filters in it, the heat and lights were on when we arrived. The fireplace was fabulous and there was plenty of wood. The management company was very easy to work with. They allowed me to shift my reservation and assured me that the driveway was being repaired. It was. It would be a delightful place in the summer and was warm and cozy in the winter. I was glad we stayed here and glad we were on the hill above the city with great views - we ended up not spending as much time around the plaza as expected and that was just fine. The Teahouse restaurant is less than a half mile away and open 9 to 9 - a great neighborhood amenity."

"When we first arrived at the place after dark, it seemed more rustic and smaller than envisioned. However, as we started to turn lights on and look around we appreciated the authentic adobe construction. The place is really cute and just the right size for us as a couple. It is well maintained, clean, colorful and well decorated. The bathroom is tiny. The kitchen is small but nicely and colorfully decorated and has what you need. The bedrooms are decent size. One has a queen bed, the other a bunk bed. The living room and dinette is a large room. The floors are brick. The ceilings are timber. The adobe exterior is in great condition. This adobe is located in a fenced in community of about 50 other adobes. It is the last one down the winding road at the corner of the property giving it more space and privacy than other units. We had a great time and would definitely stay again, if we come back to the area."
