  • Beautiful condo in Taos Ski Valley

"We had a wonderful week staying in this beautifully furnished condo in TSV. We enjoyed the breathtaking scenery, hiking to Williams Lake, very friendly people in the village and some great food at "Stray Dog!" It's just a short drive into Taos, where we enjoyed more good food, toured the Taos Pueblo village, and saw beautiful southwestern artwork all around us. Arroyo Seco, on the mountain between Taos and TSV is another small village that is a must see. What a great time of year to visit - we enjoyed warm days and cool evenings. It was Chili season and we were delighted to grab a bushel of freshly roasted chilies to bring home! The condo was very comfortable, warm and inviting, which made it a great place to come back to. We would definitely do this again!"

  • Way Beyond Expectations;))

"We had a wonderful time at The Skies@Taos. The photos do not show the vast expanse of space in the house and picture perfect views of surrounding mountains from almost every cardinal pt. We used four of the five bedrooms as we had two/three other couples stay with us several days during our week. We had several evening cookouts on the patio using the outdoor gas grill. There's also a charcoal grill (old school). We did not fire up the kiva fireplace, but it looks nice in the corner of great room(~25x30x12). A week prior to visit Brook sent us almost a dozen emails with precise directions, history, events, dining etc. We went white water rafting on Rio Grande in August. River was running only 350cgs instead of 1500, so it was a Disney style slow mostly lazy river 2.5hr morning. Nearby Taos Mesa Brewery became our go to hangout for beer and live music. We also enjoyed several fine restaurants in downtown, about 10min by car. After over 30years of visiting SW, we finally saw the 90th Burning of Zozobra in Santa Fe, usually labor day weekend. Any history buff would be very very impressed as we were. We would highly recommend this house for R&R, artistic, spiritual, and environmentally conscious (Earthship project is 20min away) people. • Super Retreat Spot with Multiple Options

"There were three of us: two old artist friends and graphic designer daughter who holed up in the casita for working time. The casa is convenient for daily living, gorgeous garden space complete with fountain and enlivened with pleasures from flora and fauna. Plus the outdoor setup with table, chairs, umbrella make breakfast outside more than inviting if one did not choose to go to the great coffee place, Downtown Subscription on Garcia, a few minutes ride or morning walk. The interior accoutrements are tasteful and comfortable. Canyon Road beckons, entices and is foot steps away. Driving to experience the pleasures of the Plaza and museums, plus Museum Hill is accessible. The whole month was one joy added to another. A repeat would be in order."
