  • Wonderful stay

"Loved our stay at Casa Amarilla in Santa Fe. The home was lovely, cozy and clean. Couldn't believe that we were welcomed with fruit and wine. Also we had eggs, butter, bread and coffee ( both decaf and regular beans) waiting in the fridge! We arrived about a hour earlier than check in time and met Linda at the home. She welcomed us in and showed us around. We were so happy to be off the road and able to get into the home a bit early. We enjoyed the fireplace every night. There was plenty of firewood available. I would highly recommend this vacation rental and would stay there again when in Santa Fe. It felt like home and our dog loved the yard."

  • Winter Wonderland

"Our stay here definitely counts as our most magical Christmas ever. There was an abundance of snow, sledges for the children to play with, great slopes and no queuing required :-). As for the house itself it is completely amazing. The kids (two boys age 5 & 7) were delighted to sleep in 'the cave' complete with cave paintings. Yes it was a touch chilly in the morning....but it was -22C outside. Once we got the stoves lit and especially when the winter sun shone on the house it was soon lovely and toasty. We needed our snow chains but Garrett kindly kept the access drive clear with his Kubota fitted with plough. We felt we had solitude up here yet we were only 20 minutes drive from Taos. It truly is enchanted and we are very sure we will return to see what it is like without the snow. We would thoroughly recommend a visit here for a true escape and to experience a very unique property. We loved it. (My husband was reluctant to write a review because selfishly he wants to keep this place a secret ;-) Thanks Annie & Garrett for letting us stay in this wonderful home and taking care of us so well :-). Happy New Year."

  • Wonderful Location! Just waiting for wifi.

"This was a fantastic place to stay with our two dogs. My best friend and I came to ski at AngelFire and we were so pleased! The only downside was the connections to cell networks and the internet. Edward has been told that high speed is coming soon, but the dialup was just ... painful. It was however VERY nice to get away for real. The house was a perfect size for us and being able to leave foodstuffs for future guests made us feel better about buying food. The grounds are well taken care of and there is so much land. Thanks for everything to Jaelith (sorry, I know that's wrong, but close) and Edward."

  • It's Been Awhile, but this Vacation is One of the Most Memorable

"It's been since 2007, the system will not let you review without a date from it's pre-scripted calendar, but my then boyfriend and now husband and I, loved Amelia. We still talk about this trip and probably always will. I hope to return one day!"
