  • This is a home more than it is a vacation rental!

"We have never had a more homelike vacation rental. It was a charming place. First and foremost, the Casa was spotlessly CLEAN. The kitchen was stocked with several sets of lovely dinner and glassware; not just the usual set of four basic pieces. There was not a single kitchen item we needed that was not there. We loved that the office provided nice privacy between the two bedrooms and baths (great for two couples). The beds were so comfortable my husband checked out the mattress to find out the manufacturer! Unfortunately due to cool weather we were able to enjoy the outdoor seating area only on two days. We especially enjoyed having a gas grill and grilled out every night. As stated it is only three blocks to the center of Santa Fe. We parked the car and did not move it other than for day trips out of town. Rita and Tom were very gracious. They met us at the Casa to give us the keys and a tour of the Casa. They were available by phone for any questions and Rita was very helpful with suggestions for shopping. All in all this was the best VRBO rental we have ever had. The location, amenities, cleanliness and charm make it a standout!"

  • New Mexico Style!

"On our first trip to enchanting New Mexico we were lucky enough to stay at this perfect VRBO. The house is beautiful, lovingly decorated in Southwestern style with all the comforts of home and then some. The kitchen is not just a pleasure to work in but fully equipped and all the dishes are Fiesta ware ,my favourite. Luxurious beds and linens, great sunset views of the Organ Mountians , and a tranquil back yard with pond and fountain for relaxing Happy Hours. Walking distance to the Golf club is a bonus for lunch or drinks. As for things to do we found plenty, old Messila, the hike to Dripping Springs and the downtown Saturday market to name a few. The owners couldn't be nicer to deal with. Thank you Mardi! We loved this house and all that New Mexico had to offer,we will be back."

  • Absolutely perfect

"I had a conference at UNM and this beautiful apartment was perfect for our needs. The furnishings and decorating were outstanding, and almost anything you could think of that you would need for your stay was provided... barring food, of course, but there were even some lovely snacks! The neighborhood is safe and interesting, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars within easy walking distance, and the excellent Amore pizzeria is just downstairs (they will bring things up to you, including drinks!). The rooftop patio was fantastic in the mornings and evenings, but I never heard a sound from above or below while in the apartment. To top it off, I was able to walk back and forth to my conference every day, saving the cost of cab fare. In short, if you have the chance, rent this place. You will not regret it. Gaye is really on the ball, and she is more than willing to meet your needs and answer any questions you may have. 25 stars!"

  • Summer Retreat

"We spent a week hiking, relaxing and cooling off at this great cabin. Thank you for sharing your home with us! What a great, comfortable place to stay. Very easy to reach from the heart of town, yet a regular highway of wildlife traffic passing through daily. We saw deer, elk and even a bear pass through right off the front door. A momma deer even walked over and licked my wifes hand as she stood at the edge of the deck. In our 6 years of visiting Angel Fire that is now her favorite moment from all of our trips. We were able to take daily hikes right from the cabin and I highly recommend walking Vail Loop Rd that starts right across the street in the evening to look for wildlife and to see some beautiful sunsets. Thanks again!"
