"We want to start off by saying we visit Red River very often and we have stayed in many, many places and by far your cabin was the best!! We loved being right on the water and the cabin was beautiful!! We will absolutely be staying at the same cabin. Thanks!"

"My wife and I met up with some friends from Colorado and we absolutely loved our stay at the Lucky Dog Casa. The home was exactly as presented in the photos and had everything we needed. I will agree that the road coming in is rough and it is beneficial to have an SUV. We never had to use 4WD, but I wouldn't have wanted to be in a car. I would mention the house has no A/C, although this was no issue for us with the perfect summer weather and breezes. We would happily stay here again in the future!"

"This was a very nice, reasonably priced place to stay. Lots of room, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, functional kitchen. A bit dated, but clean and reasonably well-maintained. Walking distance to the center of town. The only things that were missing was a toaster for breakfast, and absolutely no paper towels or napkins. Having to use toilet paper as napkins for meals was a a bit off putting. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves and had a good time. Recommended, but bring your own paper towels."

"It's hard to describe how wonderful this location was! Staying here, you are 5-10 minutes drive from Old Town and all the museums (Natural History, Turquoise, Rattlesnake, Albuquerque Museum, Explora, etc.), 2 wineries, at least 3 breweries, The Pueblo cultural center, the Biopark aquarium, zoo and botanical gardens, Uptown's upscale shopping and dining, the Rio Grande Nature Center and so much more! We rarely got on the freeway during the month we stayed. The home is lovingly decorated including the owners own artwork and everything we needed was there. The king sized bed was super comfortable and we loved having the convenience of a full-sized washer and dryer. Quiet and comfortable. Enjoyed watching Netflix and the DVD's provided well as the retro TV series on the regular TV channels. The owners are lovely, talented people who cared deeply that our stay was amazing. We would definitely go back and would recommend this home to a friend without hesitation."
