"The pictures do not do justice to the wonderful open living area and home decor. Very quiet and relaxing in the evenings with beautiful porch views (even better if you climb the Mesa behind the house.) Ojo is close enough to visit as are other sights. The kitchen was by far the best stocked with everything need to turn your provisions into great meals. The grill was a tad small but did the job. Great use of space in the second bathroom. Worth a second visit!"

"Our family and friends could not believe the beauty of this getaway! The sunsets were magnificent; in fact, we were awed by the "Cow in a Cloud" sunset one evening. Hummingbirds zinged around, and the fountain sang outside our master bedroom. Every room was stocked with the best of everything. Linens are soft, twinkle lights on the deck add ambiance and the cool nights are a relief. Having lived in Santa Fe, we can say, without a doubt, that this destination is 5 STAR!!!"

"this is a composite review, so was downgraded a bit from my personal perspective. the owner was extremely accommodating, early check in, free access to all the facilities, very personable, etc. beds were very comfortable. place was the perfect mix of being secluded (very quiet and peaceful, at the end of a private road, so no traffic at all, and lots of room for parking and walking around outside) while being very close to all the shopping and amenities that taos has to offer. it was a good base camp location for fishing eagle nest lake, driving the high road, and urban activities. some in our party found the bathrooms a little hard to get to and a little congested in the morning with just two bathrooms. i would have given it 4.5 stars if that would have been possible."

"This house has just the right amount of room to give you a great place to stay. Located close to town and even closer to the great hiking and trails in Santa Fe. Private gate keeps your car secure and bedroom balcony has the best view of the NM sunset."
