  • Beautiful Home in Picacho Hills

"My wife and I spent a month at this location and liked it very much. The property was spacious, modern, and well maintained. All the comforts of home were present in the fully equipped kitchen, large living room with fireplace and entertainment center, and a gorgeous master bedroom and bathroom suite. Everything was clean and well supplied when we arrived. The owners were great to work with and very accommodating. We especially enjoyed the great views of the surrounding mountains and city lights from the back of the home."

  • Just Wonderful!!!

"My wife and I couldn't have enjoyed our stay at the historic Rock Cottage any more than we did - it was very relaxing and invigorating at the same time. The cottage was quaint and very comfortable for the two of us. It had all of the necessities that we needed. Our hosts, Nancy and Bud, were extremely accommodating and were available at any time to help out with questions, directions, recommendations, etc. We were treated more like family than out-of-town visitors and it was very refreshing. The Las Cruces area has so much to offer visitors - exceptional shopping, dining, antiquing, and fantastic scenery (mountains, desert landscape, sunsets) and great weather (blue skies most of the time, bright sun most of the time, and warm). We also traveled to Carlsbad Caverns (overnight in Carlsbad), White Sands National Monument (about 35 miles away), and the Gila Cliff Dwelings (overnight in Silver City). All were unbelievable and worth the trip. Make sure to take the Sunset Stroll at White Sands. Also make sure to visit the Las Cruces market on Saturdays - about an 8 block area of Main Street in downtown Las Cruces is blocked off and has just about every vendor imaginable (artists, crafters, food, and much more). We also enjoyed Nancy and Bud's 3 peacocks, 3 horses, Mr Bill (the cockatoo), Felix (the cat), and Cowgirl (the dog). Additionally, if you are a bird-watcher, this is a great location. The pyrrhuloxia, scrub jay, and towhee abound as well as thrashers and doves. Of course, we fed them to attract them! In closing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. Many thanks, Nancy and Bud, for making our stay "just wonderful!!!""

  • Pam and Foster

"When we arrived we were tired and quickly so excited after seeing this little palace. There were only two of us, so it seemed so big. The dim lights were on a bottle of wine, fresh berries in the fridge. So clean and comfortable. Everything you could possibility need from tp to a stocked fridge and pantry. All kinds of info and books on LC. The pool 88 and quiet. Many restaurants close, Andelles right down the road, great mexican food. The little town of Mesilla has a Basicilica and great shopping. In th morning you can get the sun on your little deck overlooking the pool and evening organ mts. on the other side. Temps were hi 70's and 80's. LC is definitely a little diamond in the desert and having such a clean beautiful place to stay made it perfect. Owners very accomodating. Just Awesome!"

  • Perfect little home!

"This house was wonderful. Fully equipped with everything you could even think of needing, a perfect location; close to restaurants, grocery stores, you name it, yet in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. Owner was on hand to answer any questions we had while there. Wouldn't hesitate a moment to stay here again if a trip to Cruces is in the books!"
