"The Casita is a perfect base for exploring this region, from walking to historic Old Mesilla to driving up to Dripping Springs and the Organ Mountains. The Casita itself is a gem - comfortable and extraordinarily authentic, with every convenience, as well as a lovely enclosed patio in the rear and the marvelous front porch. The furnishings were wonderful, the artwork fascinating, and the architecture and history very interesting. Tamra is a great hostess, and can't thank her enough for the hospitality. If we have the opportunity to return, we will certainly check availability!"

"The house was large, and everything was in good order. I especially enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. There were plenty of cooking and baking utensils and appliances. The washer/dryer was like new. I prefer cotton sheets, so that was the only thing on the negative side. Chris replied quickly to all my questions. Would definitely stay again."

"My wife and I spent 3 months of winter here in Las Cruces and found Adobe Casita to be a cosy, quiet and comfortable place to call home. Nancy has decorated the casita with Southwest style and it was like staying in a small, private art gallery. She has supplied all needs for even a long stay as ours. We enjoyed having reliable cable tv, internet and all appliances as well as a gas grill on the spacious back patio. The neighbors were friendly and even had a good dog named Opie who greeted us each day as we set out on our walks about the nearby streets. Lots of space for a 1 bedroom casita and even a large walk in closet next to the bedroom which has a king bed. The casita is well situated for walking to the farmer's market on Main Street and to the local library. A community center within a 5 minute drive had pools and a well equipped gym with many exercise machines available for seniors at $1.00 per day. Nancy had a guide book listing all the sites to see in and around Las Cruces as well as a little library with books and magazines about New Mexico. I should mention that train tracks are within a few blocks and the occasional train passes by but we did not find that to be a problem. We really appreciate all the care that Nancy provided to us and would recommend this casita to family and friends. Although we go to a different place each year to escape a harsh Canadian winter we hope to stay here again."
