"We had a wonderful time staying in this rental for a month during the holiday season. It was nice to have a rental that was so neat and clean. Even our guests commented on how nice and comfortable it was. The rental was also well appointed with furnishings and equipment. The access to the home is by a long paved sidewalk, so we didn't have to carry dirt into the house. The house reminded us of our own home, with its remote and scenic location on acreage. But if you want to enjoy the many activities in Silver City, it is less than 10 minutes away. The owners, Lisa and Eric, are very nice and anxious to do everything they can to make your stay a good one. They even shoveled the walks for us after a surprising snow storm. We are hikers, and the house is within minutes of many miles of trails, including the Boston Hill trail system in Silver City. We also explored two different trailheads where we could access the Continental Divide Trail. The property has plenty of room if you are travelling with an RV, as we are. It was nice to have easy access to our stuff. We also felt as though it was a very secure place, with an electric gate keeping unwanted people from just driving up into the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again someday!"

"We just spent four days at this delightful place and couldn't be more satisfied. Sally was the perfect host, helpful, friendly, and available without disturbing our privacy. The home was fantastic equipped with everything you could possibly need. It's beautiful, spacious, and immaculately clean. We felt so comfortable there we never wanted to leave. It's peacefully quiet with gorgeous scenery. We based our dual sport motorcycle rides from the property and enjoyed all of them. It's close enough to Taos to enjoy its offerings but far enough away to avoid the traffic. Overall it was a lovely place to stay and we hope we can go back again."

"This is a free-standing guesthouse on the gated grounds of a private residence. Well located and very private. 5 minute drive to Taos, yet still in a quiet rural area. Excellent easy access and parking. Cable TV and broadband Wi-Fi. Good cell reception. Separate bedroom, living area, small full kitchen and bath with large shower and reliable hot water. Everything was in good repair and worked flawlessly.
Betty is a great hostess who met us on arrival, then gave us great privacy. Delicious fresh blueberry muffins were in the kitchen on our arrival, along with bottled water, K-cup coffee and fresh flowers. Pantry had lots of what we needed (salt, sugar, cooking oil, etc.) so check on what's already there before going to the store. We arrived just after a rainstorm, and the hollyhocks were blooming 4 feet tall all around the guest house, with hummingbirds buzzing around during morning coffee on the porch. Nice patio with BBQ grill and outdoor table with seating for 4. Great trout streams in the Sipapu area just 20 minutes away. The guesthouse and grounds were meticulously clean, and the house was well supplied with everything we needed, so we had an easy, excellent and comfortable stay with no worries. Enthusiastically recommended."
