"We booked the casita having read glowing reviews and looking at the pictures. However, we weren't prepared for exactly how fantastic the casita was! I have never seen such a purposeful use of a small space, and every design element was beautiful. We really felt as if it was our home and it made us rethink living in a smaller space than we do. Location was also perfect. So close to everything but a quiet neighborhood. Victoria was gracious and helpful. You will be lucky and more than pleased if you choose this adorable casita which gives you a true New Mexico experience."

"I spent two weeks at the guest house and the property, as well as the town of Dixon, has hooked me for life. The guest house is nestled on a large lot amidst the hills of northern New Mexico with a rolling creek immediately off the back deck. The sound of the water and gorgeous scenery beyond are nourishing to the soul. This late October and early November revealed brilliant autumn colors in every direction, making the experience even more memorable. The guest house, while seemingly small and simple in the photos, lives large and is well laid out for comfortable dining, lounging and sleeping. Great for one or two people on retreat. The town of Dixon is rich in New Mexican history and is teeming with friendly people, art, a suprisingly well-stocked grocery and an outstanding local cafe. Just a little further away are more activities at the Rio Grande Gorge, Taos and Santa Fe. The hosts are very personable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with, while being respectful of your privacy. I can highly recommend this property to anyone needing to get away from the big city to unwind, reconnect with nature or be close to the action without being right in the middle of it. This was a memorable getaway and I look forward to returning time and again."

"The stay was pleasant
On my arrival I wanted take a bath and found the bathtub had not been cleaned after I removed the plastic mat in the tub. It had hair and soap residue under the mat.
I checked the toilets and they needed a cleaning as well.
However, everything else was great! I appreciated the bed linens and feather pillows, the pool , and convenience of location. The master bedroom was a bit noisey as the main roadway runs right in front of building.
Seems a tad expensive"

"This cabin has a nice deck, good beds and a well-stocked kitchen. I wish I would have noticed that it does not have an AC. This was my fault, as only heat was listed on the ad. We enjoyed the hot tub and the close proximity to activities."
