  • Perfect

"We found this condo to be perfect. We have rented many different places over the past 5 years and this property is the best overall with location, comfort, and management. Parking is covered and pets are welcomed which is plus. We did not take our dog on this trip but will make this our regular spot when we travel on business and pleasure!"

  • Spacious home/quiet!

"We love to stay here and have several times. It's well equipped. Not a lot of personal knick knacks (which we like since we have small children). There's an area downstairs for teenagers to watch tv and hang out and two kids' rooms adjacent. It's close to things (skiing, grocery store, etc). I actually prefer to stay here in the summer because of the breeze and views. There is no ac though for a summer stay and some afternoons can get warm. 12 hour drive (with children) from Fort Worth."

  • Ahh, Taos! We miss Tierra Madre and the Northern Tiwa Tribe!

"This was our first trip to New Mexico and many people said to me, "Why are you going to New Mexico?!" And I said, "why not!?!" Well, let me tell you, this vacation home was fabulous! I mean fabulous! It was such a beautiful home to call our "home base". We enjoyed wonderful meals in the home and felt very "at home". During our travels around the Taos area we fell in love with the North Tiwa's (Native Americans). What a sweet area of New Mexico! This location is close to whitewater rafting (Fun), the Taos Pueblo, hidden hot springs (clothing optional), the Taos Ski Valley, shops, dining, live music, hiking and more! We did not want to leave Tierra Madre and we certainly hope to return for another visit in the near future! And, by the way, the sunsets from the backyard are phenomenal! I didn't want to miss even on sunset! WOW! Our evenings were spent stargazing from the gorgeous hot tub. The stars are spectacular in the high desert! WOWSA!!! We traveled here with our 3 children (15, 12 and 8) and each of us had a wonderful time here at this home that is equipped with everything you could possibly need and then some! Thank you so much for opening you home to us!"

  • Perfect house for a family skiing at Taos Ski Valley

"We have a family of six: me, my husband, 15 yo son, 7 yo daughter, and 5 yo twins. All four of the kids are beginnerish skiers and I was worried about going to Taos b/c it is a fairly aggressive mountain, but they all had a fantastic time and I cannot say enough good things about the ski school and the ski lessons. The house was perfect for us. Kitchen very functional (even had a coffee grinder!), which is good b/c we eat dinner in and cook hearty breakfasts. The hot tub was perfect after a day of skiing, and the bathrooms were updated. They make sure to have the important things, like lovely sheets. Close to downtown, which would have been fun if we did not have so many kids in tow… :-) We hope to return in future years. Highly recommend this property."
