"Upon arriving, I hadn't really read the email I received from property manager Heather; I was relying on the text from HomeAway/VRBO for the code into the home...read the email, VRBO wasn't UTD, and the code they listed wasn't accurate. Once in, the home was fantastic. The kitchen is fantastic (could use updated utensils/cooking items, but manageable), and the décor of the home is elegant. The bedrooms and bathrooms are fantastic. we a few extra in our group, than bedrooms allotted, but that was easily accomadated by an air mattress in the "den" area. Realistically, if the management wanted, they could easily make the WIC upstairs into bedrooms, they are larger than some hotel rooms I've stayed in. The patio/yard was really very enjoyable; trees surrounding the area made for very quiet peaceful surroundings to enjoy morning coffee and evening conversation. During our stay, the cable seemed to be "out"; although "on" it was the channels that show up when you haven't paid the bill (we have Dish at home); no news channels or entertainment channels, just infomercials one food channel and international home hunters; fortunately there are Red Boxes close by.
Overall, our experience was fantastic, and the one issue we did have, was resolved satisfactorily. Would absolutely stay here again."

"Greg and Mary Ruth, thank you for one of the best vacations our family has had. Your home is absolutely amazing. My wife and I literally gasped when we pulled up to the house. Everything in the home is top notch quality and it is the coziest place we've ever stayed. It's truly a home, not a rental place. We had a large group and every person raved about the beds; even the bunks and futons! We got lucky and were able to use the ski in/out short cut which was great. We made eleven new mule deer friends that ate out of our hands every day and then ate the carrot nose off of our snowman! Over the week we saw dozens of deer, twelve turkeys, an eagle, a mountain lion, and two wolves and two elk on the way home! Absolutely amazing. This home needs nothing and we couldn't be more happy with our choice! Thank you both!! We will be back!"

"We are locals and had too much family come to stay, so we rented this home to all stay together for a ceremony for my husband. It was the perfect getaway but so close to be able to get to things if desired. All the rooms were luxurious. All our guest commented on the comfort of the beds. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and plenty of glassware and dishes. There is good areas to take walks. The back patio area is very large. We had 5 large deer greet us one morning. We are trying to think of reasons to rent this house again. The owner was quick to respond and was flexible with check-in and out times. A pleasure to work with. Highly recommend this house for your vacation needs."

"We enjoyed a memorable family reunion at this warm and comfortable home. We had 4 adults and 3 children ( aged 8-10) staying at the house, plus my nephew and his son who live in Santa Fe, joined us for meals, play time and sightseeing.
The house is perfectly set up, with the main level being a very large great room. The photos do not do it justice! The kitchen is a dream and it was so nice to have it stocked with spices and condiments. The long dining table accommodated all of us. The kids loved having a fireplace and insisted on a fire each night.(How nice to have a stock of firewood left for us). They were thrilled to be able to explore the trails behind the house and play King of the Mountain. They had plenty of room to run off extra energy. The adults loved all of the outdoor spaces to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The bedrooms are good sized and nicely arranged with comfortable beds and lovely bedding. The home is beautifully decorated, with attention to detail, yet not so "done up" that you are afraid to live in it. There was plenty of room for 3 cars to park, under cover. Our only regret was that we didn't have more time to spend at the house. It is very conveniently located and if you can, fly into the adorable, quaint Santa Fe airport! We wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else when we return to Santa Fe."
