  • Excellent!

"Craig's Casa Apartment is amazing. It's cozy, clean, and stylish. The walking distance is perfect! Being between the Plaza and Canyon strip was nice. We are very grateful for this lovely space at such a lovely price!"

"When you look at the photo for NNMG you can't even imagine the loveliness, tranquility and serenity behind this wonderful B&B pic until you are there. It was a beautiful stay like no other. We have family in the area and was seeking out a place that would feel comfortable (but don't make that your excuse to come to Truchas!). We lived in NM for many years and so sad that it was a place not visited before outside of Santa Fe and Taos. Lorey's NNMG was so special it is hard to put into words. I felt like I had come home. Lorey took care to ensure that we were accommodated in every way starting with making the reservation, to the welcome bottle of wine. Each morning like clockwork there was robust coffee, teas and hot fresh muffins with every amenity (jams, butter and honey) with fresh yogurt and fruit, to a gracious goodnight greeting with everything in between from the day! Was lucky enough that Lorey shared her homegrown tomatoes and lettuce from her greenhouse! It is priceless how well you will sleep with freshness all around. The rooms and bathrooms are so comfy and spotless (thick comforters, tastefully decorated rooms with candles and fresh flowers.) If you want to stay connected, wireless internet and cable). It is one place when travelling your cell phone works. If you choose to not be connected, there is a library with many books, a cozy fireplace and woodstove to stay warm and very private, and a property to walk your cares away. If information is needed, she provides it and will give you insight. If quiet and respite is what you want, you'll never hear a peep. The town of Truchas and the people there are very friendly too so don't miss visiting the shops and galleries to find treasures from their creative hands to take with you. Just a quick walk away. There are just too many things to list. I can guarantee you will leave but truly never do so since this place and its owner, Lorey (and also our furry friends Luxy and Loo Loo) will stay in your mind and heart. We will be back for sure and know that when we return, we will be remembered and this place will not be forgotten. Safe travels!"

  • Home Away from Home

"Beautiful bungalow! I stayed here while on a nursing assignment in Carlsbad. It was nice to know that I had this home to come back to after a long night at work. The house is extremely clean and well maintained! The family is incredible and does everything they possibly can to make sure that your stay is comfortable and that you feel safe. As a single female that travels alone, it was very comforting to know that they were always there for me. It truly felt like a home away from home. If I am back in the area I will definitely be staying here again!"

  • Great ski-in ski-out for large group

"Our group consisted of 5 dads and each of our 15 year old sons for a father/son ski trip. The house was perfect for this group with four bedrooms and plenty of beds, nice well equipped kitchen and ski-in ski-out ability. The location of the house made it easy for those that wanted to hit the slopes early, come back for lunch or finish early without having to coordinate with others in the group. The owners were very hospitable during our stay and even helped when one of our group's SUV got stuck the last day. The group enjoyed the hot tub after a day of skiing and the boys were excited about the bon fire pit but were too tired each night to get a fire going. Over all this place was a great fit for our group and would be for any large family, several couples or large group of guys or gals just looking for an easy time on the slopes."
