"We went to Angel Fire, NM and stayed in the Soaring Eagle Lodge Ski in Ski out home and it was GREAT! We had 2 families with 9 people and had plenty of room. The house was clean with comfy beds and has a beautiful view with a nice hot tub. We had nearby restaurants/shops at the base of the mountain but opted to cook meals most nights with their accommodating kitchen. We brought/bought food and it was as if we were home. We were able to reserve/pay online and it was quick and easy but you better think ahead if you want a ski in/ski out because they go fast! The only thing that was a little difficult was the steep driveway that became muddy. You MUST have a 4x4 to go there during the winter or you won't make it up the hill. We did fine in our 4x4 trucks. There is also an uphill climb of about 50 yards before you get to the slopes but it was well worth it. Who doesn't need the exercise anyway? We had a great time and would definately recommend you rent this place..........or we just might take it again! :)"

  • First but not last visit

"The photos and description are spot on. The location works very well for Old Town, downtown, the great bike trail following the Rio Grande river and to get on the interstate. Phyllis and Rob are quick to handle any questions or needs plus provide insider information about Albuquerque. I was very pleased with my whole experience."

  • Quiet and hospitable

"A friend and I stayed in this beautifully restored adobe casita in order to participate in the annual Good Friday pilgrimage to the Santuario in Chimayo. It was a calm and wonderful respite in the evenings--the furnishings are pleasant and comfortable, and the owners have gone to considerable trouble to make the place both historical and charming. This was an ideal headquarters and resting place for us as we traveled in and around Espanola and Chimayo."

  • Bliss, Serenity, Views

"This was exactly the retreat I needed and was looking for - a beautifully appointed yurt and annex with stunning views, being able to walk out of it and walk and walk, lovely hosts who made sure I had everything I needed, and the long sought serenity of being in such a peaceful restorative ambiente. Thank you Benyamin and Rabia."
