"We are leaving today and cannot wait to come back! 3 adults plus small dog and plenty of room. Heated tile floors downstairs were icing on the cake! Kitchen perfect, beds comfy, hot tub awesome--great location too! I took the dog for walks everyday and the location was perfect for that and for shopping and as a home base for skiing. Thanks Paul!"

"We stayed for 5 days at the Straw Bale Home while we skied at Taos Valley. It was a beautiful place to stay and very warm and relaxing to come home to in the evenings. It was also nice to get away from all of the people at the slopes and have a peaceful evening while eating dinner and watching a movie. Our two college daughters were with us and we had a wonderful family time together. I would go back in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone."

"We enjoyed our stay of just over 1 month in Taos. Longer stays reflect different challenges but first with the exciting part. Privacy (at the end of the road) was very nice. The landscaping fit the area and there is plenty of room to get outside. We entertained some and had a wonderful time. The house was spacious and fit our needs quite nicely. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
The casa is at the end of a one mile dirt/gravel road so you will usually have some dust on your car. The dishwasher is located so that the door does not open all of the way so it is necessary to work through a partially opened door. The standup shower was a little small for me (6'3" 210#) but we made it work. The hot tub is behind the house so exiting, drying off in the cool new mexico air and then making the journey around the house was cold to me. A hot tub placed near the door seems more logical. The outside photos posted on this property when we rented it were from a neighbor property owned by the same people and not the view from this casa. Most of the "shopping" in Taos is located south of the down town square so it is necessary to deal with the "town square traffic jam" on each trip.
Overall we had a wonderful time and were very satisfied with the accommodations. This lovely casa is on our favorites list as we plan to return again soon."

"What a great place for a get-away in Taos! Quick drive to downtown. Lots of room and very comfortable. Tastefully decorated and furnished. All the comforts anyone could need. Wireless worked great. Radiant floor heat kept the feet and space nice and warm. Gas fireplace was a special feature (but not really needed). AND.....the outdoor spa was heaven after a great day of skiing. We'll be back!"
