"This cabin has a nice deck, good beds and a well-stocked kitchen. I wish I would have noticed that it does not have an AC. This was my fault, as only heat was listed on the ad. We enjoyed the hot tub and the close proximity to activities."

"We were 2 families from Texas (4 adults, 3 children) and spent 5 nights in this beautiful home. The amenities were incredible: each bedroom has a private bathroom, there are 2 large kitchens, and 2 balconies. The children occupied the 1st floor complete with a hot tub and a pool table, and unless we were sightseeing we never saw them. The views from each balcony were beautiful and peaceful too, and we spent each morning and sunset seated outside watching deer pass by. The owners were kind hearted and easy to work with as well which made booking a breeze. I would recommend this large home to families with children as well as to large groups of friends without children. We truly enjoyed our visit!"

"We booked this sweet mountain top home last minute, but had no problems thanks to Lisa's efficient procedures. The house itself is situated at the top of its neighborhood, offering lovely views of the mountains and surrounding area. There are trees surrounding the living space and master bedroom, making you feel like you're in a tree house. A wrap-around porch offers a cool breeze and relaxing place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare our own meals with ease. We enjoyed a movie on TV, as well as a game of Monopoly during our stay. There is no WiFi, so plan accordingly. The house is spacious, although not large, making it feel cozy and comfortable. Although my husband and I were the only guests during our stay, this house would easily accommodate a few more people. We were very pleased with all aspects of this property.
This was our first time in Ruidodo, but the proximity of the house to town made it easy to pop in and check things out. There are several routes you can take to leave the neighborhood, depending on where you are headed. We highly recommend the Four Front Cafe and Sacred Grounds Coffee House. Both have excellent menus and very reasonable prices. Great service, too! Another outing we did was a hike off of Cedar Creek Road. There is a fitness trail, offering a short, groomed loop, but further up the road is a trail head across from the campgrounds offering a more strenuous, lengthy hike away from people and noise. We really enjoyed the 3.2 mile hike! This is a nice trail for runners as well.
Overall, this is a clean, comfortable place to get away. Lisa is easy to work with and will make sure you have the best stay possible. We highly recommend this property."
