"Just returned from five glorious days at Ruidoso Downs/area, and we were so fortunate to have found this lovely home. The stunning setting, charming decor, artwork and accommodations are all wonderful. If you are looking for "shiny, new", this isn't your place. But if you appreciate beautiful old wood floors, elegant antique rugs, rustic pine paneling, gorgeous colorful tile work, sun porch, private patio to enjoy some wine & cheese while enjoying spectacular sunsets, billions of stars, the sights, sounds and smells of nature, then by all means, come stay here. Comfy bed (only slept in master), great hot water with good pressure, well appointed kitchen, plenty of entertaining and relaxing space. We fell in "love at first sight" and definitely would stay again. Only note...probably not for anyone with serious mobility issues. As secluded as it is, the location is very convenient....close to racetrack, grocery, Ruidoso restaurants, and my favorite pottery, Pinon Pottery. But beware, you won't want to leave!! Great value, thanks for the reasonable rate--we stayed an extra day due to this-- and sharing your lovely home!!!"
