"Truly a perfect stay and a real New Mexico experience for this solo traveler considering relocation. The furnishings and decor in the casita are authentic and lovely. I cooked many of my meals because of dietary preferences and the kitchen met all my needs. How sweet to be able to dine on my own patio under the shade of the latilla - and that was just one option for dining; you also have your own dining room and a kitchen island with stools. The location is quiet yet close to many major attractions: Old Town, Tingley Beach, the Botanic Gardens and Zoo, Rio Grande Nature Center State Park and a whole lot more. As others have commented Jill and Marty are superb hosts who truly care about your comfort and enjoyment. They simultaneously manage to give you all the space you want while also being available to help with anything you might need. I wish I could rate this stay 10 stars!"

"Perfect location for a great spring break! We arrived at the condo to find everything in order. It was clean, well appointed & comfortable for our family of six. I had a question about internet access & was able to contact the owner, very quickly. She referred me to a 3-ring binder that was left for guests. The binder is full of information about the condo, check-in & check-out, Angel Fire resort info, local restaurants, etc. We cooked most of our own meals & had plenty of cookware, utensils, plates, cups, etc. The local grocery is a 2-minute drive, as are plenty of local restaurants & shops.
We were pleased to be so close to the slopes (only 2 blocks away), but we opted to take a shuttle to & from the resort. The shuttle cost is $1/day per rider and it runs every 30 minutes or so. Ask your driver about a 12-ride punch card for $10. Friendly drivers, pick-up right in front of the condo & drop-off at the resort. Take the shuttle & keep it easy.
We enjoyed our stay & will definitely be staying again. The owner is easy to work with and very responsive. I can't say enough good things about our stay. We are looking forward to coming back!"

"My friends and I travel quite a bit, and after having said that you can imagine that we as a group have rented many places. Now, out of all of the places we rented, this has to be among the best. It was roomy, it looked great, the house was well kept and beautifully decorated in keeping with the mountain scheme, there was more than plenty of room, it was secluded just enough that you had privacy, yet not so much that you felt you were in the beginnings of a horror movie, and the stars, wow you could see the nighttime sky perfectly just by stepping off the front porch. Now, on the subject of angel fire and other such resorts near there. what can i say, its less then a ten minute drive to get to the base of the angel fire mountain, and on top of that you don't even have to go to angel fire, you can go right by the turn off and you will be led to all of the other resorts simply by just following the road (albeit there is a turn of here and there, and it takes longer than ten minutes to reach them.) that leads past the resorts. I was most certainly pleased with our stay and i would love to visit again."

"We had a wonderful time staying in this rental for a month during the holiday season. It was nice to have a rental that was so neat and clean. Even our guests commented on how nice and comfortable it was. The rental was also well appointed with furnishings and equipment. The access to the home is by a long paved sidewalk, so we didn't have to carry dirt into the house. The house reminded us of our own home, with its remote and scenic location on acreage. But if you want to enjoy the many activities in Silver City, it is less than 10 minutes away. The owners, Lisa and Eric, are very nice and anxious to do everything they can to make your stay a good one. They even shoveled the walks for us after a surprising snow storm. We are hikers, and the house is within minutes of many miles of trails, including the Boston Hill trail system in Silver City. We also explored two different trailheads where we could access the Continental Divide Trail. The property has plenty of room if you are travelling with an RV, as we are. It was nice to have easy access to our stuff. We also felt as though it was a very secure place, with an electric gate keeping unwanted people from just driving up into the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again someday!"
