"Our second stay at Casa Santander De Santa Fe was as enjoyable as the first and in many ways even better. The house is AMAZING, the flow from room to room to the internal courtyard and the surrounding yard is easy and "comfortable". Feels like "home".
While in Santa Fe, we celebrated with friends and made new friends. Longtime friends from Texas visited for a few days. There was plenty of space for both together and alone time. Breakfast in the kitchen, followed by coffee while sitting in the courtyard and enjoying the chilled morning air, warmed by a fire in the outdoor fireplace, was a great way to start each day. Evenings cooking on the outdoor grill, revisiting the day while enjoying the "big" night sky lights were like the "cherry on top of the ice cream".
The location to Museum Hill and to downtown Santa Fe can not be beat. Recommend the Museum Cafe. We met Liz for lunch at the Cafe and had a wonderful conversation about the history of the area and her recommendations of things to do and see.
It's less than an hours drive to Old Town in Albuquerque. The time and the experience is worth the drive. Try lunch at the Church Street Cafe. For an adventure, head up to Taos and while there visit the Rio Grande Gorge area and have a beverage or two at the Taos Mesa Brewery.
Overall, a great celebration. We will be returning again and again and again...... Thank you Liz"

The most comfortable HomeAway place we have stayed
"Lovely casita with very comfortable furniture and very well equipped with the essentials. Easy access to downtown by car or walking. Our stay of nine nights as very relaxing. There are a lot of travel guides that were very helpful."

"As others have said, my husband and I found this place very cozy and comfortable during our Christmas week stay. The decor is charming, the furniture comfortable and the linens good quality. The kitchen was better stocked than any other rental we've had. One of the selling points for us was the ability to walk to the Plaza, but it was too cold during our stay to walk much of anywhere! We did venture out though to Bandelier which is easily drivable from the condo.
A neighbor's dogs could be heard barking now and then, but they were quiet at night and indeed the condo is very quiet. Though technically it sleeps six, I think six adults would be cramped.
It really felt like home by the end of our stay and we were sorry to leave!"

"Our family of 8 representing 3 generations stayed at Casa de Cielo y Sol over the Christmas holiday this year. It's a perfect location, private and quiet in a peaceful and scenic setting but only a few minutes form the hart of Santa Fe. The house couldn't be more welcoming, clean, comfortable, well-stocked and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is amazing - definitely designed by someone who enjoys cooking. We made a number of wonderful meals in the incredibly well appointed kitchen with lovely views. We didn't lack for anything.
I would love to stay here again if the opportunity arises and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Fe. I'm originally from Santa Fe and can say without hesitation that this house represents the best of what homes in Santa Fe have to offer both inside and out. The owners were great to work with and super responsive to any questions we had."
