"I arrived in Santa Fe on May 21st for the Memorial Day Weekend. I normally stay at another venue that was not available. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find the cutest casita I have ever seen. The casita was very well maintained and appointed. It was spotless on the inside. The only negative thing I could say about the casita itself is the cooling unit is not central and was a bit hard to find. But once it was found, it operated perfectly and kept the casita cool. Casa Tranquila is located in a good neighborhood very close to the Plaza and a number of my favorite restaurants including the Bull Ring which is a local favorite. It is also close to hiking trails and a city park if you have a pet that needs a walk. Overall, it was the right size for me and a friend and was very comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone and intend to stay there again."

"My wife and I found this house a serene treasure as enchanting as Santa Fe itself. Wonderful mountain and sunset views. An easy walk to the historic central plaza. Owners were super responsive and made every effort to insure a perfectly enjoyable vacation."

"We've been talking about spending Christmas in Santa Fe for years, and this year finally decided to do it. We rented this lovely casita and were so happy we did. Decorated in charming cast-offs, southwest-inspired fabrics and original art, this adorable, cosy place was the perfect size for two adults, and our dog. It has all the necessary mod-cons, including a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, a nicely equipped kitchen (with an electric tea kettle!) and two wood-burning fireplaces (note: be sure to push the grate all the way to the back of the fireplace, or you'll set off the smoke alarm, which we did ;-( The location is spectacular. We walked everywhere; to the plaza, to Canyon Road, to the rail-yard area (kind of a schlep but invigorating!) The off-street parking was very appreciated, especially since it was snowing when we arrived and parking on the street to unload would have been a chore, and possibly dangerous. The Casa also features a charming fenced in yard (which our dog appreciated) and a lovely veranda (which weather did not permit us to use, but looks very inviting.)
The only quibble I have involves entertainment. We arrived with a stack of our favorite Christmas movies, only to discover there was no way to view them as there is no DVD player. The unit does have broadband cable, but it is very limited (no movie channels.) So unless you are content to watch old episodes of "Hoarders," or "Love It Or List It" (with many commercial breaks) be sure to pack a lot of reading material. Other than this, it was a fantastic experience and I certainly hope we can return in the future."

"This was a very nice, reasonably priced place to stay. Lots of room, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, functional kitchen. A bit dated, but clean and reasonably well-maintained. Walking distance to the center of town. The only things that were missing was a toaster for breakfast, and absolutely no paper towels or napkins. Having to use toilet paper as napkins for meals was a a bit off putting. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves and had a good time. Recommended, but bring your own paper towels."
