  • Santa Fe/September 2014

"The instructions to locate the casita were clear and concise. The casita was very clean. It was close to the old town Santa Fe and is indeed within walking distance. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed our stay, although we didn't spend too much time, other than sleeping at the casita. The only reasons that I am not giving the casita an excellent rating are that: (1) a couple of screens were missing from the small windows and we decided not to keep them open so not to let critters in. (2) the nights were cool enough not to turn the air on, so we wished we would have had a fan. Otherwise, the place, location, convenience, etc., was everything we needed!"

  • Outstanding House In Santa Fe!!!!!

"What a fantastic place to stay! Tastefully furnished, very comfortable beds, lovely linens, well equipped kitchen, nice off street parking, and within walking distance to restaurants, the plaza, museums, galleries, and shopping. This house is very clean, comfortable and inviting. We all agreed that we could not have selected a better property and plan on staying again on our next trip to Santa Fe if it is available. Audrey made the rental process very pleasant and efficient and responded quickly to my questions."

  • Our Getaway for Three

"My daughter and I were the advance party the first night. We found a darling, cozy casa! Colorfully decorated and furnished with comfortable beds and chairs. The gas heater in the LR was welcome in the chilly mornings and the chairs outside were perfect for the sunny warm afternoons. The next day we added another friend after her conference ended in ABQ. We were able to go on easy day trips to Taos and Los Alamos from our perfect location in Santa Fe. It was also easy walking distance to all the major in town sights and shopping in Santa Fe. Two us are quite tall and we did consider the place less appropriate for the rest of our family most of whom are over six feet tall, as some of the doorways are very low. Also some of the spaces, i.e the bathroom, are very small. They could be difficult for a large person. All said, we loved Casa Galeria and would recommend it highly to anyone going to Santa Fe. It was perfect for us. Thank you."

  • Fine Base for Santa Fe Activities

"Another couple joined us for our week in Santa Fe and we found this to be a great way to visit. First up: a great location: either an easy walk to the Plaza/downtown or a quick drive to the highway up to the opera & Bandelier or down to Albuquerque. (Getting across town to Museum Hill wasn't bad, either. At least when we were out & about, Santa Fe was easy to drive around.) Inside, the living room was comfy enough (we never turned on the TV—not what we came for) and the kitchen was well-enough equipped (tho we did little more than coffee or uncorking wine). Bathrooms nice, a notch shy of awesome, (ALSO something we weren't focused on), the beds big & comfy. As the description says, there is NOT an AC that you can turn down to “FREEZE.” One of us was delighted by that; the rest of us were quite OK with inside temps that were usually around 75℉. Electronics were a bit of a disappointment. Wifi was on the slow side, and first-time login was somehow awkward. I don't think Netflix or videos would've been an option. And I wished there had been a stereo w nice speakers to plug in my iPod. But again, we didn't come to spend our time glued to our electronics! All the checkbox points were as expected: clean, functional, pics accurate, good info about the property & initial thoughts of places to eat, etc. Very slight, but friendly contact w owner & maintenance person. Bottom line, we've already bookmarked the place and the adjacent cottage for consideration for our next visit."
