  • Great rental value and excellent location

"My husband and I plus 2 small dogs stayed for a week in March. The pictures are accurate. It is not 5 star accommodations but has its own charm. The outside area wasn't as much of a 'yard' as I had hoped but did the job for my girls. I have to say location, location, location. Walking distance to most of Santa Fe's best shopping, art and food. The rental agent was excellent. Very helpful."

  • Happy family rendezvous

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rendezvous for us, our adult children and closest family friend. Beautiful views, comfortable and charming interiors. Wish it had outdoor space as extensive and dramatic as the interior. Gilbert, the caretaker, was fantastic and charming. We spent time wandering the art galleries, Bandolier, Contemporary arts center, etc. Very glad that we had the weekend + Mon and Tue. Town was super crowded on the weekend."

  • Casa Artista: Perfect Hideaway: Great location and comfy home to come back to!

"This is the perfect spot for visitors to Santa Fe who don't know their way around. It is a nice, quiet neighborhood with off-street parking, and you can't beat the location: Barely five minutes to the square or five minutes to Canyon Road. If you plan to visit 10,000 Waves Spa it is a straight shot in about 10 minutes! I got up early in the mornings and drank my coffee outside on the front porch, enjoying the early light. There is quiet little courtyard and, if you're inclined to, there is even a bbq grill! The kitchen is well equipped. We ate breakfast at the casita and lunches & dinners out. Our hosts have left a manual with lots of suggestions for Santa Fe including restaurants & bars. We tried and loved The Shed, El Farol, The Cowgirl (Baby back ribs & fun free music even on Wednesday night), and El Meson. Our best discovery that was not listed in the Welcome manual was our final dinner at Terra Cotta Wine Bar & Restaurant. It has only been open about a year. The owner is French. This was not typical Santa Fe cuisine, but it was truly spectacular! Small plates, prix fixe menu or a la carte > délicieuse! The prices were definitely fair. We couldn't find parking so I ran inside and asked them where we could park and they were able to point out a close spot that was allotted to them in the evening hours. We hope to get back again sometime…and maybe stay longer next time!"

  • A Nice Quiet Retreat

"My wife and I just spent a few days in beautiful Santa Fe at Casita de Paz. It’s a comfortable, modern casita just a few minutes outside downtown Santa Fe, with the added benefit of a reserved parking place in town. Richard’s directions were very good, and parking was easy, right in front. The house offered privacy, the kitchen was beautiful, and although we didn’t use it a lot, it had what we needed. And it was very easy to open the windows and get wonderful cross ventilation throughout the casita. Because the casita is outside of town, we could really see the stars at night, which were vivid and bright. 1000’s of them. The air was clear and crisp, and it was so quiet there. But even though it felt remote, we could still get up in the morning and in ten minutes be in Santa Fe eating breakfast at a nice diner. It was simple to drive back and forth from town to the casita more than once in a day. One minor drawback - the bathroom really needs some sort of sturdy shelf to put a shaving kit and a woman’s cosmetics case on for the duration. The bath was fine for two, but a shelf would have made it a lot more comfortable. We ended up keeping things piled on top of the dresser next door in the bedroom. Very enjoyable overall, and we would recommend it to any couple or singles traveling that way."
