"This was my second stay at this casa. I had such a great experience one year ago that I wanted to stay for a whole month this time around. The house is like a home away from home. When I walked in it was like coming home. The house is well appointed, art filled and very clean. It is very quiet and private. This time around I was able to meet Chris who is the owner. She had many great ideas on places to go for sightseeing, meals and entertainment. The house is very close to nice little pubs and Canyon Road galleries. If you have never been to Santa Fe before this is the perfect place have a home base. I will return!"

"Where to put my extended family visiting Santa Fe for the first time? The Palacio Compound - with it's two charming casitas connected by an equally charming patio - it turned out to be the perfect choice. Everyone loved the furnishings, the beds, the Italian linens and toiletries and if they could have spent the day in their yummy Frette bathrobes, they would have! But Santa Fe beckoned and all the delights were just a short walk from the casitas. Thank you Caroline (owner of Aqui Santa Fe) for greeting everyone when they arrived and accommodating all ten of us in your wonderful Palacio Compound. We felt well cared for."

"We're frequent visitors to Santa Fe and usually stay in one of its many good small hotels. This time we waited too long to book, so decided to look for a small house instead. Turns out that our procrastination was a gift in disguise. The Acequia Madre casita is in the very best part of town: quiet and leafy, but just a block or so from Canyon Road, three blocks to the city's best coffee house and bookstore, and exactly one mile to the plaza (a lovely walk along Canyon Road and then along the creek on Alameda). The casita has all modern conveniences but also the advantages and charms of adobe construction. Plus, lovely outdoor space. It's bright, sunny, airy (love the high ceilings and beams), and has tons of windows (most of which open - with screens too, thank goodness). Super comfortable bed. Giant trees everywhere. And Ken and Peg were lovely, responsive hosts. We'd return again in an instant."

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
The casita was well stocked with clean towels, linens, soap and other amenities. We brought our dog and found the place was perfect for a pooch. Long walking trail across the street on Alameda, so we all got exercise and were able to easily walk everywhere. We could leave for the afternoon and our dog could lounge in the private porch, while watching hummingbirds buzz around. The beds were comfortable and the furniture rustic but lovely. Would stay there again."
