"We really loved this condo. The location was excellent (just a few minutes' drive into downtown SF and with easy access to Hwy 84/285, walking distance to grocery store) but the neighborhood was nice and quiet, perfect for short walks with the dog. The decorations inside were beautiful and the view of the mountains fantastic. A wonderful place to return to after a day of exploring, or to just hang out with a good book on a rainy day. The manager, Scott, was especially helpful. On our arrival we couldn't find the coffee grinder, so we phoned him (mainly to make sure he wouldn't think we took it). The same evening Scott stopped by with a new coffee grinder, right on time for our evening coffee! Other than that, the kitchen was fully equipped with lots of dishes, cups, wine glasses, pots and pans etc. The dishwasher was a godsend since there were four of us and we ate most of our meals at the condo. Arrival and departure instructions were clear and accurate. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a place to stay with 4-5 people (with or without dog)."

"This home was the perfect retreat for my husband and I for our romantic New Mexico getaway!
Situated in the desert neighborhood of Eldorado just south of Santa Fe, this home was so peacefully quiet and beautiful inside and out.
From the moment we entered the home we felt at peace, the "namaste" feel to it suited us perfectly!
The inside was beautiful and bright with skylights in all the right places. The viga ceilings were amazing! Lots of windows and ceiling fans. The kitchen had everything needed for a dinner in or just a snack. The washer and dryer came in handy for doing up all our laundry while relaxing on the patio on our last day, saving a day of laundry at home.
The outside patio area had perfect views of the desert and mountains.
By day we enjoyed watching the cottontail rabbits hopping about as well as listening to and viewing the birdlife, which included hummingbirds.
In the evening we enjoyed beautiful sunsets over the mountains while listening to yipping coyotes in the distance.
Once darkness fell, the view of the stars and milky way was amazing! Eldorado has a low light policy so as not to create light pollution to detract from the star gazing - perfect!
We even had the opportunity to watch some distant thunder storms and enjoy the lightening shows!
The home was located just south and very close to Santa Fe, but also an easy drive to Albuquerque, Taos, Bandelier, Tent Rocks and many other popular areas.
Just minutes away in Eldorado's little village was a grocery store and gas station among many other conveniences.
We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the north central area of New Mexico. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat after busy day of sightseeing, then this is the perfect balance. We loved it!"

"I arrived in Santa Fe on May 21st for the Memorial Day Weekend. I normally stay at another venue that was not available. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find the cutest casita I have ever seen. The casita was very well maintained and appointed. It was spotless on the inside. The only negative thing I could say about the casita itself is the cooling unit is not central and was a bit hard to find. But once it was found, it operated perfectly and kept the casita cool. Casa Tranquila is located in a good neighborhood very close to the Plaza and a number of my favorite restaurants including the Bull Ring which is a local favorite. It is also close to hiking trails and a city park if you have a pet that needs a walk. Overall, it was the right size for me and a friend and was very comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone and intend to stay there again."

"Our stay exceeded our expectations from many perspectives. Every detail was covered - beds and sofas more comfortable than home, several inviting outdoor spaces full of beauty and relaxation, and extra touches such as detergent on hand for laundry and the dishwasher.
Something additional that was unexpected: the owner, by virtue of her twenty years of massage therapy practice, transformed my visit into a retreat. I arrived stressed from work and study. I had decided to ask for one massage, as early into the trip as possible. It was the best massage I have ever received. Even though I am very careful with money, I scheduled two other massages, each helping me relax my neck and shoulders to feel as if they are brand new. Now back at home, I am able to retain the ease and clarity found on vacation. Thank you."
