  • The best!

"The 4 of us stayed at this beautiful home for 4 days. Could not of asked for a more perfect place. We walked to Canyon Road. Close to everything. Had our 2 dogs with us and if they could talk, would say they want to return. While there, try to eat breakfast at Harry's Roadhouse and Cafe Pasqual's, both great. This home is perfect since each room has it own bathroom. The kitchen is very well stocked. Even spices. Loved the stove, heated water in a couple of seconds. Don't pass this place up, we are keeping on our list for the future when our family returns. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home, making our experience memorable."

  • Best VRBO Ever

"My wife, two young children and I loved this place. We actually stayed here twice in one month. A fast 20 minute drive north of old Santa Fe, the Casita provided exactly what our family needed, a rural setting within minutes of the city. Comfortable, affordable, clean, privacy, farm animals the children could feed, mountain views, around the corner from a nice winery and tasting room and the nicest owners you could hope for! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and already have!"

  • The Perfect House for a Stay in Santa Fe

"Our family of 8 representing 3 generations stayed at Casa de Cielo y Sol over the Christmas holiday this year. It's a perfect location, private and quiet in a peaceful and scenic setting but only a few minutes form the hart of Santa Fe. The house couldn't be more welcoming, clean, comfortable, well-stocked and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is amazing - definitely designed by someone who enjoys cooking. We made a number of wonderful meals in the incredibly well appointed kitchen with lovely views. We didn't lack for anything. I would love to stay here again if the opportunity arises and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Fe. I'm originally from Santa Fe and can say without hesitation that this house represents the best of what homes in Santa Fe have to offer both inside and out. The owners were great to work with and super responsive to any questions we had."

  • Good location and nice unit

"Overall our stay with two children was a very good experience. The unit was very tastefully decorated and supplied with ample linens, cooking utensils, plates and glasses but could use more plastic cups for small children to use. There are also a good selection of books and music CDs along with lots of firewood although the wood was green and needed a few more months of seasoning to burn properly in the kiva. The radiant floor heating kept the place very comfortable during our stay in March as there was still snow on the ground in places. The small "library nook" was an excellent place to read or watch TV, but the couch was the only comfortable place to sit in the main living area and unfortunately oriented with its back to windows and thus missing the beautiful view of the city and mountains. Likewise, the outside patio has one comfortable lounger but the other chairs were missing cushions, again, making seating for more than one or two people not very relaxing. We used the outdoor grill once and it was in very good condition, relatively clean (for a grill) and worked just fine. The location on the hill offers wonderful views and a quiet retreat from the city but the walk back from town may be a challenge for seniors or persons with disabilities. So a good place for 1-2 fit adults and 1-2 children but before we return we'd like to see more comfortable seating in the living and patio areas, and reorientation of the living seating to take in the views."
