  • Warm, cozy confo

"We had a lovely holiday at Casita Marota! We were worried since we arrived on what had to be the coldest night of the year, but the place warmed up quickly. It's a small apartment, but worked perfect for 2 adults and 1 child. Everything we could need was there, and the owners were very quick to respond when we did have a concern (which turned out to be minor and easily fixed it ourselves). The bed took a little getting used to, it's sort of like sleeping on a sandpile at first. There is a futon/couch in the living room, but the bed was big enough that our 3-year old ended up in there too. It is very conveniently located, and the Plaza, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and many restaurants could be walked to if it's warm enough."

  • Peaceful and beautiful retreat

"I came here with my husband and two girls age 6 and 8. The casita was perfect for all of us! It is simple and beautiful and very comfortable. Julia really thought of everything we might need. Having breakfast food here ready for us when we arrived was incredibly useful after driving up in the evening. My girls had to fight over who got which banco! The boncos are these cute cozy corners that double as couches and turn into a comfortable place to sleep at night. The bed in the main bedroom was incredibly comfortable as well. Coming from Baltimore where the trees are dense and tall we loved waking up to the amazing, expansive views just outside the door! The colors are absolutely stunning and constantly changing throughout the day. We got to Santa Fe, Taos, and Ojo Caliente all easy drives from the casita. We loved the simplicity and beauty of being here at the casita. If you are looking for a restful and inspiring place to stay you will be happy here."

  • Beautiful property and perfect for our ladies' trip

"My girlfriends and I wanted to take a spa trip to New Mexico to celebrate a dear friend's birthday. Knowing we were driving from ABQ late at night, Jeremy sent us detailed directions the week of our trip. They came in handy since it was quite dark, but we made it to the house with no issues at all. Upon our arrival at the house, we were in awe! The house was spacious, the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and the setting was breathtaking. We were so in love with the place, that towards the end of our spa day at Ojo Caliente, we decided to take a (short) trip into town to pick up groceries so we could spend the next day at the house. That day, my friends and I walked around the property, sunbathed on the enormous upstairs deck, took several dips in the hot tub, cooked our meals, watched the sunset, and sat around the outdoor fireplace into the late night. The next day, we drove into Santa Fe to check out the Plaza area and did some shopping. This home is a great place to unwind and watch sunsets, but still close enough to the central part of town. The hosts were very helpful when we needed something, but allowed us our space to enjoy our vacation as if it were our own place. Thanks again to the owners for maintaining such a lovely home! I would highly recommend staying here."

  • Better than Anticipated

"My friend and I stayed at Casita Linde for 5 nights. We had a wonderful stay. The Casita was even more than we were expecting. Sometimes pictures represent a rental better than it actually is but this place is wonderful. Very well equipped and had everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable which was a plus. An easy short walk from the plaza so most days never moved the car which is a plus to not need to search for downtown parking. A lovely quiet neighborhood. We ate at least one meal a day at the Casita which was great and something hard to do in just a hotel room. Furnishings and decoration is just as represented in the pictures, great southwestern style. Definitely a place we will recommend to any of our friends heading to Santa Fe. We hope we will even be able to return next year. Richard was so easy to work with I wouldn't hesitate to rent from him again."
