"This was our third stay at the Cielo Grande location, our first in this particular third floor unit. As with the other unit we stayed in, this one was very nicely decorated and equipped with everything one needs. The location is great--close to downtown, shopping, dining, highway to Taos, etc. The complex is quiet, and mountain views from the third floor balcony are lovely. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for another great stay in beautiful Santa Fe!"

"We rented this lovely home for a week. It was fantastic! After skiing during the day, we would walk in to old Santa Fe for dinner and sight seeing. The location is ideal. Our property manager met us on our arrival with a bottle of wine and a bag of ice. She had great suggestions on where to dine. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. Had a huge fireplace, outdoor decks and a master suite bigger than our first apartment! Our plan is to return next spring break for another week!"

"Our family of 5 (with high school and college kids) just returned from a week at this lovely home. It is exactly as pictured and we felt like guests in someone's home rather than a "rental property" like other VRBO properties we have stayed in. We appreciated the local decor, comfortable beds and a private patio area. It was a great place to return to after day trips to Taos, Tent Rock, Albuquerque, Bandalier, and a rafting trip. If we return to Santa Fe we would love to stay here again."

"We've been talking about spending Christmas in Santa Fe for years, and this year finally decided to do it. We rented this lovely casita and were so happy we did. Decorated in charming cast-offs, southwest-inspired fabrics and original art, this adorable, cosy place was the perfect size for two adults, and our dog. It has all the necessary mod-cons, including a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, a nicely equipped kitchen (with an electric tea kettle!) and two wood-burning fireplaces (note: be sure to push the grate all the way to the back of the fireplace, or you'll set off the smoke alarm, which we did ;-( The location is spectacular. We walked everywhere; to the plaza, to Canyon Road, to the rail-yard area (kind of a schlep but invigorating!) The off-street parking was very appreciated, especially since it was snowing when we arrived and parking on the street to unload would have been a chore, and possibly dangerous. The Casa also features a charming fenced in yard (which our dog appreciated) and a lovely veranda (which weather did not permit us to use, but looks very inviting.)
The only quibble I have involves entertainment. We arrived with a stack of our favorite Christmas movies, only to discover there was no way to view them as there is no DVD player. The unit does have broadband cable, but it is very limited (no movie channels.) So unless you are content to watch old episodes of "Hoarders," or "Love It Or List It" (with many commercial breaks) be sure to pack a lot of reading material. Other than this, it was a fantastic experience and I certainly hope we can return in the future."
