  • Great Santa Fe House

"We rented this house for two months while we remodeled our kitchen at our home in Santa Fe. It was like taking a great vacation in your hometown. The house is in a perfect location. We walked to Downtown Subscription for coffee everyday. You can walk to Canyon Road to see all the galleries. We walked out to lunch and dinner in town. We had our two dogs with us and it was perfect for them. The master bedroom is huge with a wonderful bed. In fact, I am going to buy the same bed for new bedroom! Rent this house for any length of stay in Santa Fe. You will love it!"

  • Great for Family Gathering

"Our family stayed at Opera House over the Thanksgiving holiday. The location was perfect: the easy walk downtown allowed family members to get about independently without having to pile into the rental car. The notebook provided by the owners offered sound tips for restaurants and activities. We had not done our homework before the trip and so we appreciated the great recommendations. We did two of the suggested hikes --the slot canyon at Tent Rocks was a highlight of our trip and an incredible experience! The house itself was lovely and perfect for our purposes. The 3.5 bathrooms and the bed arrangements worked well for us and we appreciated the items that were provided to start us off for our stay. (The first floor master was a big help for my mother, who is 87 and cannot do stairs.) We were able to cook a Thanksgiving dinner using the kitchen equipment provided, although a large pot for boiling potatoes or pasta would be a good addition. All of our communications with the owners went smoothly and questions were answered in a timely fashion. We were able to get into the unit quickly upon arrival. Highly recommend."

  • Celebrate in Santa Fe

"Our second stay at Casa Santander De Santa Fe was as enjoyable as the first and in many ways even better. The house is AMAZING, the flow from room to room to the internal courtyard and the surrounding yard is easy and "comfortable". Feels like "home". While in Santa Fe, we celebrated with friends and made new friends. Longtime friends from Texas visited for a few days. There was plenty of space for both together and alone time. Breakfast in the kitchen, followed by coffee while sitting in the courtyard and enjoying the chilled morning air, warmed by a fire in the outdoor fireplace, was a great way to start each day. Evenings cooking on the outdoor grill, revisiting the day while enjoying the "big" night sky lights were like the "cherry on top of the ice cream". The location to Museum Hill and to downtown Santa Fe can not be beat. Recommend the Museum Cafe. We met Liz for lunch at the Cafe and had a wonderful conversation about the history of the area and her recommendations of things to do and see. It's less than an hours drive to Old Town in Albuquerque. The time and the experience is worth the drive. Try lunch at the Church Street Cafe. For an adventure, head up to Taos and while there visit the Rio Grande Gorge area and have a beverage or two at the Taos Mesa Brewery. Overall, a great celebration. We will be returning again and again and again...... Thank you Liz"
