  • Charming, close to Art and the Plaza

"I enjoyed my stay, very cozy, clean and colorful. I liked having the Historic Church for a landmark. One of the paintings in the bedroom was done by an Artist friend of mine who has a gallery on Bent Street. I liked walking my dog all over the place. I would love to come back. Carol"

  • Perfect Ski Trip

"My family and I took a spring break ski trip to TSV in March 2015. Typically we stay at a hotel in town but this year we decided to look for a house in which to stay. It was an excellent change from our normal plan. Beth and Joel were extremely professional with the rental agreement. A week before our stay Beth and Joel emailed us detailed instructions for everything from how to work the cable tv to how to work the hot tub. The house had all of the kitchen supplies we needed during our stay as well as plenty of bedding and towels. The house was extremely close to the mountain, literally only 10-15 minutes away. After a day of skiing, the hot tub was a wonderful way to wind down and relax. I highly recommend this house especially for families wanting to stay close to the ski valley."

  • Soul Restoring

"Lovely casita (the photos do not do it justice!) with great view of the Valley. Extremely comfortable, well stocked (loved the organic coffee provided!) & private. I went with my two dogs to recharge my batteries, and the experience was magical. Jean was welcoming & warm, while respecting my desire for seclusion. Close (by auto) to Taos & Arroyo Seco, it was also a great jumping off spot to explore Dixon, Chimayo, and all the beautiful High Road locations. There is a magic to the site that defies quick description, beginning with a quiet cup of coffee in the morning out on the patio, to watching the weather move in & out in the pm's ( I was there in July which Falls in the 'monsoon' season with short, dramatic rain events accompanied by fantastic skies & wonderful cooling-offs). Even in the heat of the day, the casita was comfortable with natural breezes & plenty of ceiling fans to keep the air circulating. I highly recommend this location to anyone who wants to be restored; I found it to be a bit of heaven."

  • So many things to like

"We enjoyed our stay of just over 1 month in Taos. Longer stays reflect different challenges but first with the exciting part. Privacy (at the end of the road) was very nice. The landscaping fit the area and there is plenty of room to get outside. We entertained some and had a wonderful time. The house was spacious and fit our needs quite nicely. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The casa is at the end of a one mile dirt/gravel road so you will usually have some dust on your car. The dishwasher is located so that the door does not open all of the way so it is necessary to work through a partially opened door. The standup shower was a little small for me (6'3" 210#) but we made it work. The hot tub is behind the house so exiting, drying off in the cool new mexico air and then making the journey around the house was cold to me. A hot tub placed near the door seems more logical. The outside photos posted on this property when we rented it were from a neighbor property owned by the same people and not the view from this casa. Most of the "shopping" in Taos is located south of the down town square so it is necessary to deal with the "town square traffic jam" on each trip. Overall we had a wonderful time and were very satisfied with the accommodations. This lovely casa is on our favorites list as we plan to return again soon."
