"WONDERFUL!!! We had the best experience at the Casita Manuel. It was perfect for our 3 nights in Taos. Very Private and low key, just the kind of place a rock star needs to get away. Though it was freezing outside, we we warm and cozy inside. The house is right in town and we could walk to many great restaurants and shops and the Taos Ale House which is a stone's throw away. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. The manager let me borrow her sewing kit to fix my ski jacket and we had a fedex package delivered there with no problems. It was a busy season but we felt very peaceful and calm. The hot tubs were hot and bubbly and just a few steps from the house. The kitchen was just like a real kitchen and had everything we needed. The shower was a bit short for my husband so maybe not good for super tall people. We hung out in the family room very comfortably just like we were at home. Excellent price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED."

  • Great Escape

"My grown daughter and our two (small) dogs stayed at this casita for a week in late October. The house is colorful, comfortable and a bit quirky (step up, now step down) but we didn't mind. Our Corgi was a bit confused by the steps but after a couple of days he was a pro. The weather was perfect, in between summer and ski seasons. The house had everything we needed, and the washer-dryer was particularly appreciated. It was also very quiet; we were never bothered by neighborhood noise. There is a school next door where you will hear the children playing at recess but really, is that noise? We enjoyed great meals at Michael's Kitchen (southern pecan pancakes to die for), veggie burgers at the Ale House and vegetarian entrees at La Cueva. Chris was so easy to work with while making arrangements, I would not hesitate to recommend her and her sweet house."

  • Exceeded Our Expectations

"My husband and I spent the week of Christmas at Rinconada Retreat with our 2 adult children. The location afforded something for everyone. It was close to several ski resorts and to Santa Fe. We enjoyed the beauty of the property and watching the wildlife on the Rio Grande River. The snow turned it in to a winter wonderland. The house was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. The owners were wonderful to work with from start to finish. You will not be disappointed!"
