  • Paradise in the high desert

"My husband and I love New Mexico and only recently discovered this charming getaway. The adobe casita was built by a well-known architect. His wife collects fabulous folk art and you notice the displays in niches, nooks or under tables. I love the crow pillows she paints in her studio across the street. When you stay here you forget about cells and email. It's a place we want to visit every summer. We cook most meals and drink martinis on the porch. We love walking to town, visiting the churches, driving to Arroyo Seco where Abe's Cantina and the Taos Cow are located. Last year we drove to the Ghost Village and climbed to the top of the ridge. We also spent a day basking in mud baths at Ojo Caliente. The hatch chilies are a quick find, and we made chicken enchiladas one night. There is down time just sitting outside, reading and taking in the lush gardens and outdoor folk art. I'm ready for my Taos fix at Casa de Los Abuelos!"

  • Beautiful Place

"Great way to enjoy Taos. Charming property with a wonderful tree house that really captivated our 4 year old. We even slept in the tree house one night. Next time we head to Taos, we will try and stay here again. The landscaping is well done, and the home is so well decorated, we didn't want to leave. Convenient to the square, only a very short drive; but just far enough away that it is very quiet and peaceful on the property, especially in the evening and early morning."

  • Motorcycle Trip to Taos

"We had a great time in Taos. It's an eclectic town with beautiful scenery, especially by way of motorcycle. Our arrival to the rental was a little rough. But Paul was helpful to get us in to a new condo. We were given a different unit then what we thought we were getting. It turned into a 3 bed 4 bath which was more then enough space for four of us. The condo was in great condition and fully stocked. The neighbors were very friendly. The house was not really as close to the plaza as we had hoped. You could walk but it seemed to be a bit of a walk and on the busy main street. The private hot tub in our own backyard was such a bonus after long days on the bike. Thank you Paul for all your help while we stayed in your wonderful condo!"

  • Charming, Quiet Casita

"This little casita is the ideal getaway just outside of Taos. Equipped with everything you would need, the space is clean and classically Southwest with the saltillo tile floors, adobe walls and vega ceilings. The views are vast and the setting is just pristine. Just a ten minute drive into town, we enjoyed all that Taos had to offer (Love Apple for dinner was amazing) and then retreated back to this quiet casita. It was fun driving through the little village of Arroyo Seco on the way, a charming little place with restaurants, art studios and a few shops. Can't wait to return for a longer stay. Thank you, Sandy and John!"
