  • Wonderful house - delightful stay

"We really enjoyed the house a great deal. It’s a wonderful, open floor plan and we immediately felt very comfortable there. We cooked two of the three nights we were there, and felt right at home, as the kitchen was so well equipped and we could do everything with ease. We especially enjoyed the quiet and peace of the surroundings of the house, and particularly enjoyed sitting under the portico watching the beautiful sunsets. The weather was so comfortable. The house was just charming, and extraordinarily comfortable. We were sad to leave, and vowed to return again and perhaps spend a few more nights next time. As you know, there is so much to do in the area."

  • Great place to stay in Taos

"Stayed here 2 nights in July. This place was very clean and quiet. Close to everything in town. Good parking. We will be back."

  • Excellent Stay

"The place is nicer than the pictures and the wording in the listing suggest. David was great to deal with. The place is only a block or two from the main road, but is quiet. The outdoor space is great. There were guests at the main house, but the spacing between the properties is good (you are not right on top of them). Our dog loved laying in the grass outside. The weather was warm (90+), but the casita was comfortable. You can open the windows and get air flow and the building itself stays cool. There is a fan if you need it, but we didn't. The living area was large and there was HBO on the TV. Cell service was good for us with ATT. We would definitely stay again."

  • Cozy home for Taos Ski Trip

"First of all, kudos to Kitty and Joe, the very hospitable owners of the property. We had the privilege of meeting Kitty the day of our arrival. She is so friendly and helpful that it made our visit worry/hassle-free. Santistivan Hacienda was a wonderful cozy place to return to after a full day on the slopes. The "L-shaped" home is located on a quiet dead-end street very close to the plaza. We were 2 couples with 2 children and the house offered plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was very well stocked with more than adequate amenities. Although the center of the action was the kitchen, the living room was a nice place to relax on the couch and watch TV. The heated floors made the house warm and comfortable after skiing in Taos Ski Valley which was about 25-30 minutes away. Best of all, was the hot tub which was enjoyed by all especially under the clear night sky. It was perfect! In addition, the weather allowed us to sit outside and the use the patio. The photos are accurate and the property was clean and well-maintained. We truly loved the ecclectic quality of the home and look forward to coming back. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!"
