  • Simply Perfect

"My wife and I have stayed at the Red Door condo three times now, and are planning to bring a set of parents there in late April 2014. The condo is warm and well-lit and home-like. It easily sleeps 2 couples. It's located on a quiet street in a residential neighborhood that's walking distance to the plaza and galleries and good restaurants. It's also about 3/4 mile to Frank Baca park (which is good for toddlers)and the same distance to Wired, a local coffee house. If you're a bike rider, the condo is simply perfect: literally out the door, there are slow-traffic rural roads along various arroyos and aceqs toward Millicent Rogers Museum through cottonwood groves. Skiing at Taos is only 30 minutes. And our favorite restaurant in the area, Aceq, in Arroyo Seco is about 15 minutes by car. This is the right place in the right location and in. the right town to let you simply just "be" for days."

  • Spring Break Ski Trip 2014

"If you think the pictures look great...wait until you see it in person. This home is beautiful and extremely comfortable. We decided on Taos Ski Valley for our annual family spring break ski trip this year. Veterans of Colorado lodging, we were very cautious while surfing the VRBO site. We were 4 adults and 3 children (2 teens). The home has everything you need and some. It truly felt like home. It is perfectly located between the town of Taos and Ski Valley. This was our first time using VRBO. The owner is a great and helpful person who cares about you having a great time. He was quick to respond and provided answers to all our questions. We were slightly concerned about the method of payment but that went flawlessly. I only mention that in hopes that anyone making a decision about Casa Blanca and worrying about the payment method doesn't let that steer them away. You will be missing out if you do! Kitchen...everything you need. Plenty of towels and robes for the hot tub. Heated floors. We will absolutely stay here again!"

  • Authentic Taos Experience

"This Taos Adobe home is the authentic choice for a lifetime Taos adventure and memory trip! We planned a trip to sink into Taos just as the locals do, with very little tourist time, and sacks full of everything unplugged. This home was our Adobe perfection! Filled with antique touches, taste, a history filled grace and love for the landscape, both inside and out. Aiello Road has a tucked away kind of quiet would not know you were just a few miles from the center of town. Our week long stay allowed us to cook most nights on the pinion fire and we shared the courtyard with mugs of spice tea and numerous hummingbird friends. Great spots for warm conversations and for these appreciation of the cool New Mexico summers. We did not want to leave, this home left an impression on us and we will be back soon to visit our new found friend. Thank you, thank you Melissa for sharing your home and your passions."

  • Excellent choice, beautiful house!

"When you eneter Casa Arequipa you can see imediately that the owner loves this house. The pictures and the description were accurate and we didn't miss anything there. The house is very welcoming, clean and well equiped with all essentials including; dish and laundry detergents of high quality, all organic items in the kitchen, bedding and towels. We felt home and took a good care as it's our own house. The owner was very helpful in providing an extra bed and didn't mind us bringing along our little dog. House is situated somewhere in the middle between Taos and Skii Valley and it didn't take us long to get to the slopes. We might come back next year and i'm highly recomending this house for your stay."
