  • Great house! Amazing Stay

"We came here and stayed for a family ski trip to Taos and Angelfire. We had a wonderful time and the house was perfect! Very well kept and with great instructions for everything. Lise made things very easy and was very helpful throughout the entire process. Highly recommended!"

  • Fantastic Christmas break

"Our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids aged 7 and 11) stayed here over Christmas 2014 - the house was just perfect. Loads of space for us. Great kitchen, well kitted out - lots of cooking ingredients and utensils, we were able to do a full Christmas dinner. Warm, cosy, beautifully and sympathetically decorated. Pat, the owner, was great to deal with. Responsive, thoughtful, down to earth....she arranged for a Christmas tree and decorations to be at the house when we arrived so the kids could decorate it, suggested lots of great things to do over the vacation (Christmas Eve at the Taos pueblo was unforgettable). Easy to get hold of, when we had queries. And George, the manager on the ground, was fabulous. Showed us how to use the fire burner properly, arranged for the faulty refridgerator to be fixed (on Christmas Eve! - what a star). Plus, he's an incredible artist....massive art on buildings, we spotted them around Taos and at the Ski Village.....! Only 10 minutes stroll into town, casa is in a quiet neighbourhood, easy parking. I can't recommend the place highly enough. Gorgeous casa in a stunning town in one of the most beautiful parts of America I've visited."

  • Fantastic secluded getaway - Swiss Family Robinson style architecture

"We immediately fell in love with the casual and comfortable style of this beautifully designed architectural retreat. A lot of thoughtful, playful design and love has gone into creating the various levels within the main home. Plenty of amazing artwork and "earth ship" style design to amaze the eye. We were able to stay both in the main home and the Casita next door. All the comforts of home with a fully operational kitchen, bath and beds. The second and third levels are better suited for mobile and adventurous folks who like to climb around and dont mind more of a futon like bed scenario. I found it comfortable and completely relaxing. We will be back to continue our exploration of both the house and the large grounds to walk around and take in the 360 degree views! Thanks to Dan and Diane for being such amazing hosts and letting us enjoy a slice of their paradise."

  • Our month in Taos

"We spent the month of March in Burt's wonderful guesthouse. It is large and lovely, furnished with high end furniture, lamps, rugs and even original art. Impeccably clean, and well stocked kitchen, bathroom and laundry room, even abundant wood for the kiva fireplace. Lots of closet space for extended stays. Burt was a gracious host, knowing how to offer as much (or as little) advise as we wanted. We have traveled extensively in the west, we would never consider staying anyplace else in Taos. Lucky find! Thanks, Burt"
