"Owner was very easy to work with and provided an excellent packet of instructions. If you are going to stay there I assume you are familiar with Taos ski valley. The property is easy walking distance from the Bavarian: a quaint inn a few hundred yards away at the base of Kachina peak with views of Wheeler peak and 2 miles from Williams lake. The property is 2 miles up a dirt road that is exclusively 4WD accessible. We saw numerous mule deer within 100 yards of the property and much wildlife. It is not convenient to the town of Taos...but that is the point. We selected this property for a larger party having stayed at the Bavarian on at least two separate occasions. Great base for hiking adventures. It is in the middle of the woods so there are gnats, flies and other critters normally associated with the forest: so be prepared for a forest stay and have a great time!"

"My husband and I stayed in this lovely condo for 5 days in May. We are hikers and there was a wonderful trail just across the road from this condo. There were also several other hiking trails up and down the road into Taos ski valley that took just minutes to drive to. We loved staying here! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The internet and cable worked great and we even could watch netflix via the cable on the TV, so enjoyed a free movie each night! My husband and I took a private pottery lesson at Taos Clay Studio and also enjoyed trying some of the restaurants in Taos. This condo was perfect for a romantic getaway. My favorite moments were probably sitting on the porch listening to the sounds of the river. Highly recommended! I know we will be returning in the summer to enjoy more hiking and fun!"

"Had a great stay at the chalet.
The pictures really don't do it justice. My group had two chefs in it, and they raved about the kitchen. So nice to be able to have a meal as a group and watch the snow falling on the mountain.
The living room is spacious and comfortable - we could all hang out there and "visit". We were there over Super Bowl weekend and the set up was perfect to watch the game.
Location is ski on/off, located right next to a trail, and this is not common for Taos. Really a great experience and I would highly recommend it for people looking for a great place to stay in the ski valley. We were lucky to be on the mountain as Taos was hit with 14 inches of snow while we were there. Had we stayed in the town of Taos we may not have made it up to the mountain!"

"Location, location, location! We stayed at the Edelweiss Chalet for springbreak with my family and two other families (we rented the studio apartment and the main house) for a total of 11 people (5 adults and 6 kids/teens). The house with the studio was a great set up for all of us to be together, yet also have our privacy. The best part of the house is its location. We took the beautiful and scenic pathway behind the house that leads directly to the pioneer slope in less than 5 minutes! Couldn't have asked for anything better than to be able to ski in and ski out from the house. Kitchen was fully equiped so we ate all our breakfast and dinners at the house. Ilse, the owner, is a great hostess. She can be reached easily and always responded promptly to any questions or requests we had. All our expectations were met and we would definitely rent the chalet the next time we return to Taos Ski Valley!"
