  • A great condo and an awesome owner!

"We just got back from a trip to Taos. Gail's condo was perfect for our family. Plenty of room in the studio condo and an easy 2-3 minute walk to the base. Even though it is only one room, the condo has plenty of space to move around in. Also, the bed was very comfortable. Most rental condos have horrible mattresses - not this one. My husband and I both slept great and did not wake up with back aches, which is usually the case when we go skiing. VRBO is a great site to find vacation lodging and being able to work one on one with the owner instead of a company, makes planning a trip easier and more personable. Gail was a great hostess. She was around for us to easily communicate with her if we had questions and was very responsive. Most importantly, the per night cost was very reasonable considering how close it is to the slopes. Taos lodging prices tend to be on the high side. So finding a good deal for lodging near the base is not easy. But the best part of our trip was that Gail allowed us to stay an extra night for free. The condo was not booked the night we planned to leave, so Gail graciously offered us the chance to stay another night and get one more day on the mountain. We took her up on the offer and had a blast. It was a great day for skiing. Perfect weather - not too hot or cold, clear blue skies and no long waits on the mountain. Thanks to Gail and her hospitality, we will consider her condo our home whenever we visit Taos!"

  • Fantastic Location, Beautifully Furnished, All The Comforts of Home

"I very much recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay in a lovely and comfortable home which has everything you'll need -- and within walking distance of Taos Ski Valley. I have rented several homes in vacation areas and this was one of the cleanest, nicest and best stocked, with new dishes, great quality appliances and comfortable furniture. With the sole issue we had (Internet), the Owner reacted immediately. We'll stay here again if we return to Taos!"

  • Great spring skiing experience

"This place has a great layout for two families, with a smaller master bedroom downstairs (with private bath), a larger master on the second floor, and a large sleeping loft on the top floor for kids. Our group of nine was very comfortable. The chalet is beautifully constructed and carefully maintained. I was very impressed with the quality of the furnashings and a good collection of videos for nightime relaxation. We could not "Ski-in" due to warm weather, but did not mind the walk to and from the Pioneer lift (it was very doable for lunch). We will certainly considering coming back next time we want to relax in Taos."

  • Beautiful condo in Taos Ski Valley

"We had a wonderful week staying in this beautifully furnished condo in TSV. We enjoyed the breathtaking scenery, hiking to Williams Lake, very friendly people in the village and some great food at "Stray Dog!" It's just a short drive into Taos, where we enjoyed more good food, toured the Taos Pueblo village, and saw beautiful southwestern artwork all around us. Arroyo Seco, on the mountain between Taos and TSV is another small village that is a must see. What a great time of year to visit - we enjoyed warm days and cool evenings. It was Chili season and we were delighted to grab a bushel of freshly roasted chilies to bring home! The condo was very comfortable, warm and inviting, which made it a great place to come back to. We would definitely do this again!"
