  • A beautiful home in a beautiful place

"The property is close to the center of Taos and is conveniently located, and yet feels very private and secluded. The home is surrounded by a large deck and the yard is nicely landscaped with two large and beautiful willow trees. The home itself is lovely, comfortable, and nicely decorated. It stays very cool in the summer even without air conditioner. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, and the is internet as well as washer/dryer and a hot tub. It is also very nice that the house is pet-friendly. We especially loved the large window seats in two of the rooms, and the french doors that open to the yard, providing fresh air and a nice breeze. Everything was very clean and well organized when we got there. There was information about local attractions. Overall, this was a great experience. We expect to be back."

  • Simply Perfect

"My wife and I have stayed at the Red Door condo three times now, and are planning to bring a set of parents there in late April 2014. The condo is warm and well-lit and home-like. It easily sleeps 2 couples. It's located on a quiet street in a residential neighborhood that's walking distance to the plaza and galleries and good restaurants. It's also about 3/4 mile to Frank Baca park (which is good for toddlers)and the same distance to Wired, a local coffee house. If you're a bike rider, the condo is simply perfect: literally out the door, there are slow-traffic rural roads along various arroyos and aceqs toward Millicent Rogers Museum through cottonwood groves. Skiing at Taos is only 30 minutes. And our favorite restaurant in the area, Aceq, in Arroyo Seco is about 15 minutes by car. This is the right place in the right location and in. the right town to let you simply just "be" for days."

  • The perfect house for a four family winter vacation!

"Great house for our group of 17 (8 adults, 9 children). There was plenty of room for everybody and the large kitchen was outstanding. The amenities were excellent and Kate insured we had everything we needed. The location was also prime as we could easily walk downtown for shopping, restaurants, and cocktails. It was also a great central location for ski trips to Taos Ski Valley, Angelfire and Red River. I'd recommend this house to any group looking for a great place to stay in Taos!"
