"Casa Azul provided one of the best VRBO experiences we have had, and we have traveled a lot. Its location in Old Town Albuquerque, and its traditional Southwest architecture make this an easy choice for a romantic getaway, or as a starting point for adventure, shopping, exploring, and fine dining. Fun day trips include taking the tram to the top of Sandia Peak and hiking to Kiwanis cabin; taking the Turquoise Trail (Hwy 14) to Madrid, and Santa Fey; taking the Jamez Mountain Trail (Hwy 4) to Bandalier National Monument and the hot springs at Jemez Springs.
Casa Azul's garden gate opens to a public parking lot, directly North of Backstreet Grill. It is steps away from multiple small shops, fine dining, art studios, etc. Within 3 blocks, there are three museums, 2 parks, a church built in 1706, and possibly one of the finest photo galleries in the Southwest, (APG). Don't forget to stop at the olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting room. Yes, it is real, and worth the stop. It's only about 50 steps South of the gate.
The well appointed, clean and efficient living space of Casa Azul includes beautiful art, and absolutely everything needed to make for a comfortable and convenient stay. The private garden provides added security and a great place to relax. The owner is super accommodating, and a pleasure to deal with. We do not hesitate to give 5 stars."

"This Casita is gorgeous. The views are outstanding and the place is well designed and beautifully decorated. The two suites are perfect for a family or two couples and provide outstanding privacy. The amenities are more than adequate, and the artwork and decorations are amazing! There are also water features in the front and the back and amazing views all the way around. The owner is super responsive and awesome! I highly recommend this place!"

"My family and I stayed at the Eastern Star during the 4th of July weekend! It was such a beautiful home and located just minutes from downtown Taos. It is furnished beautifully and so inviting. We have 3 small children and they felt right at home. We cooked breakfast and dinner a few times while visiting and the kitchen was equipped with everything needed. Taos is a beautiful town. We also drove to Red River for the 4th of July Parade and then to Eagles Nest lake for the firework show. It was such a special vacation! Thank you!"
