  • Wedding Bliss

"As soon as we entered the property we had the best most comforting feeling. We were in town to get married and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. This location is so cozy and relaxing. It is also an excellent location for getting around in Albuquerque. The landlord is so nice. He is one of the reasons our stay was so much fun."

  • Studio in Taos

"We just returned from a 3 day trip to Taos. The studio was a pleasant surprise. Roomy with everything that you would need. The kitchen was great and the laundry as well. We utilized the hot tub which worked great. Close to town but did drive as there were no sidewalks on the windy road to town but doable during the day. We would stay there again with no worries. • Could not have been better!

"I had the pleasure of staying in this little casita for two weeks this fall. The house was clean, well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen was completely equipped, and there was even a laundry room with washer and dryer. The thick adobe walls of this old house created a feeling of security, safety and comfort. Even though the house is nearly 100 years old, it is well maintained and obviously loved, having been in the family for generations. The location was quiet, nestled near the Rio Grande and surrounded by mountains; yet it was relatively close to urban centers as well (Espanola, Taos, Santa Fe). Tom and his wife were warm, friendly hosts and made our stay there special -- for example, our very first discovery upon entering the house was a plate of freshly picked tomatoes and grapes from their garden! They gave us all the time, space and privacy we needed yet were always available to answer any questions we had. Tom even took the time to introduce us to some of his artistic neighbors and to show us some of the sights in the area. By the time we left, I felt we had made new friends. This is definitely a place I will visit again."

  • Peaceful and beautiful retreat

"I came here with my husband and two girls age 6 and 8. The casita was perfect for all of us! It is simple and beautiful and very comfortable. Julia really thought of everything we might need. Having breakfast food here ready for us when we arrived was incredibly useful after driving up in the evening. My girls had to fight over who got which banco! The boncos are these cute cozy corners that double as couches and turn into a comfortable place to sleep at night. The bed in the main bedroom was incredibly comfortable as well. Coming from Baltimore where the trees are dense and tall we loved waking up to the amazing, expansive views just outside the door! The colors are absolutely stunning and constantly changing throughout the day. We got to Santa Fe, Taos, and Ojo Caliente all easy drives from the casita. We loved the simplicity and beauty of being here at the casita. If you are looking for a restful and inspiring place to stay you will be happy here."
