  • Family New Year's Ski Trip

"This home is even more wonderful than it looks in the pictures. It was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teens and 2 adults - with room to spread out and nice places to be together (especially the hot tub after each day of skiing). The location was perfectly located between the town of Taos and the ski area and located at a much lower altitude than the ski area, making for much better sleeping. The views, decor and spaciousness of this house are fabulous. And, it is super well equipped with everything you could need. Charlie was great to work with and promptly answered any questions we had. This house was a big highlight of our vacation!"

  • Best. Cabin. Ever!

"We stayed over the New Years with a big family so we had both upper and lower levels and was more than perfect. Everyone had a great time being in the middle of the wilderness. The cabin was beautiful, and even decorated for the Christmas season. Trust us that the pictures don't do it justice. The sun set is absolutely amazing as it sets right over the balcony and can be seen from the living room. We took many family photos with the sun setting over the Pecos and will keep those memories close forever. The place is remote enough that you have a peaceful place of solitude but close enough to Santa Fe should you want shopping and a classic piece of the southwest. However, if making the trip in winter ,and there is snow, you will need 4 wheel drive or chains as a couple of the turns get iced over, but the drive is beautiful. We recommend for family and friend gatherings. We hope to go back next winter. Nikki is very helpful and takes great care of the cabin. This place will give you memories for a life time"

  • Tim & Nancy Salazar

"For our family of four we found the cabin to be clean and cozy during our Spring Break stay. We all slept comfortably and utilized the role away bed as well. The house was stocked with all the necessities. The only items we brought were food which we picked up at the local Walmart. The full kitchen allowed us to make our own meals and and save money for other activities. The view of Sierra Blanca was awesome from the porch. All the main attractions including Ski Apache, which we visited, were well within ease of driving. If staying in a hotel with no elbow room isn't your thing, definitely give this place a try. We definitely would stay here again."

  • Super property!

"This house was perfect to meet our needs! It was incredibly clean and provided us with the needed space to spread out with our teenage kids. Gabrielle was helpful, kind and delightful to talk to and do business with. The beds and the furniture were very comfortable, which was appreciated after long skiing days. We would be thrilled to visit the house again for another spring or summer trip. The teenagers loved having their own rooms, and would have been completely content if the house had wifi!"
