"The Painted Pony Resort met all of our expectations and more. There was plenty of room for our huge family of 40 along with something for everyone to do. Besides swimming, playing ping pong, playing basketball, or shooting pool, our family could also just kick back in the amazing courtyard to just read or enjoy each other's company. We really did find a gem in the desert with this rental. Thank you Bruce and Glen for making this occasion priceless."

"We had a wonderful time staying in this rental for a month during the holiday season. It was nice to have a rental that was so neat and clean. Even our guests commented on how nice and comfortable it was. The rental was also well appointed with furnishings and equipment. The access to the home is by a long paved sidewalk, so we didn't have to carry dirt into the house. The house reminded us of our own home, with its remote and scenic location on acreage. But if you want to enjoy the many activities in Silver City, it is less than 10 minutes away. The owners, Lisa and Eric, are very nice and anxious to do everything they can to make your stay a good one. They even shoveled the walks for us after a surprising snow storm. We are hikers, and the house is within minutes of many miles of trails, including the Boston Hill trail system in Silver City. We also explored two different trailheads where we could access the Continental Divide Trail. The property has plenty of room if you are travelling with an RV, as we are. It was nice to have easy access to our stuff. We also felt as though it was a very secure place, with an electric gate keeping unwanted people from just driving up into the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again someday!"

"The house is very comfortable and well-furnished. The decks are a big plus: the one in front has an awning and is great for morning coffee. Another deck is on the side, shaded for happy hour! The setting is a beautiful, wooded canyon, with several other fine homes scattered on both sides. Very private and peaceful but only a 20 minute walk or quick drive to downtown."

"There were 4 couples who shared this home for 7 nights. We made it our home. There was plenty of room for everyone. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and the bedrooms had blinds to open and close as you wanted. The master bath however has a very large window over the bathtub but without any blinds or covering. The top and bottom decks have amazing views of wildlife and mountains. Mule deer, elk and wild turkeys were abundant in this area. The house is located in a beautiful upscale gated community and very quiet. The hot tub was great along with the pool table and card table. The property manager was great and addressed any concerns and issues we had. This is a wonderful home and property to spend your vacation. We hope to be able to return in the future."
