  • Terrific property

"This was a well situated and well appointed apartment within easy walking distance of downtown Silver City. Amy, our hostess, was very pleasant and accommodating, making sure that we were totally satisfied. We were. Highly recommended for couples visiting the area."

  • Best Kept Secret in Santa Fe; well maybe not for long!!

"This was our first trip to Santa Fe and my husband and I were delighted to have the opportunity to stay at Susan's beautiful home. It's a very sweet, cozy retreat with plenty of room, privacy, beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need/want to make for a wonderful vacation. As soon as you enter this home you feel "welcomed". It's within walking distance to shops and restaurants and just a short ride to the Plaza where you can shop to your hearts content, see a play at the Santa Fe Playhouse, visit a winery, venture into one of the many museums or get a bowl of Tortilla soup at the Plaza Cafe (I highly recommend!!). If you are planning a trip to Santa Fe and this house is available DON'T hesitate to book it NOW! Hotels just don't have that "home" feel and in most cases, are much more expensive. Can't stop wishing we were still there!!"

  • Third stay still a charm!

"Happily my husband and I returned for another stay (four nights) in Julianna's comfy, light-filled casita (previously reviewed as Karen172). Too busy to take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen, we ate (also quite happily) every day at the Range Cafe--just a hop, skip, and jump down the alleyway--where the food, atmosphere, and people are great. The Range's Lizard Rodeo Lounge is also a full bar hosting cool music most nights. (A poetry reading had fully packed a back room one evening we were there.) Northern New Mexico is rich with sightseeing opportunities in all directions from Bernalillo, but if you need to work or want to just hang out in the evening, the casita has speedy WiFi and Roku connections. Speaking of connections and speed, the Rail Runner through Bernalillo is a fine way to zip up to Santa Fe, on a route you wouldn't otherwise see. I noticed that one reviewer mentioned that the train disrupted her sleep, but more of us feel the romance in a train's whistle, and truthfully, it doesn't wake me after the first night and I actually miss it. I've already booked another stay (my fourth) later this spring, after I meet up with an old friend in Taos, and can hardly wait. Thanks again, Julianna!"

  • Fantastic Christmas break

"Our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids aged 7 and 11) stayed here over Christmas 2014 - the house was just perfect. Loads of space for us. Great kitchen, well kitted out - lots of cooking ingredients and utensils, we were able to do a full Christmas dinner. Warm, cosy, beautifully and sympathetically decorated. Pat, the owner, was great to deal with. Responsive, thoughtful, down to earth....she arranged for a Christmas tree and decorations to be at the house when we arrived so the kids could decorate it, suggested lots of great things to do over the vacation (Christmas Eve at the Taos pueblo was unforgettable). Easy to get hold of, when we had queries. And George, the manager on the ground, was fabulous. Showed us how to use the fire burner properly, arranged for the faulty refridgerator to be fixed (on Christmas Eve! - what a star). Plus, he's an incredible artist....massive art on buildings, we spotted them around Taos and at the Ski Village.....! Only 10 minutes stroll into town, casa is in a quiet neighbourhood, easy parking. I can't recommend the place highly enough. Gorgeous casa in a stunning town in one of the most beautiful parts of America I've visited."
