  • Amazing

"What a wonderful place! It was a beautiful home in a magical setting. The home was very clean with beautiful décor. The floor to ceiling windows which allowed you to look out onto the lake were perfect. It made you feel like you were outside even in the house. One of the best features was the hot tub in which you could soak at night and look up at the stars. Carolyn was a great hostess! I will definitely be back hopefully soon."

  • Awesome house

"We love our stay in Taos and especially in this property. The house is clean, big and very well equipped. The interior design is amazing. The house has windows look out to the best views in Taos. The photos in VRBO web site don't tell all stories about this wonderful property. We will definitely rent this property again for our next Taos trip."

  • Abeyta/Trujillo/Guajardo

"What a great place with even better views. The setting and accommodations made for one of the best family getaways in recent memory, and the price was more than reasonable. Fished with Jim one day, and the day on the Holy Water was definitely a highlight, landed a super thick 20" Bow on a size 20 emerger tied to 7X. In addition, the provided lunch was gourmet (no exaggeration); Jim can cook, to put it mildly. My only suggestions are as follows: couch is a B-/C+ in terms of comfort and subsequent travelers would be well served by bringing their own knives, as the house knives are dull and difficult to use when preparing meals. Regardless, the Ranch House is a great place to stay, relax and fish."

  • Charming and Romantic

"This was our second visit to Casa Encantada, but the first time since the property went private. It was a fabulous experience! We loved the unit we were in (#1), and found it in great condition with quality decor, modern kitchen equipment and thoughtful amenities. We also thought it was a great value. We will definitely return!"
