  • Ideal Ruidoso Home

"I just recently stayed in this home with my husband and had one of the best vacations we have ever had. The home is beautiful and cozy. The kitchen is fully stocked with equipment. It has everything you need for a great stay. We enjoyed all the extras like the grill, second story balcony, and hot tub. I also saw the deer pictures before going but didn't actually believe it until they are out of my hand the very first day there. The deer came to visit us in the yard every day and it was wonderful. Another great perk about staying in this home was our interaction with the owners. They gave us great ideas on what do, where to eat, and replied quickly to questions. Wonderful people. We can not wait to stay here again sometime."

  • Hated to leave.

"Could not have had a better experience during our stay at this mountain gem. Summer in the mountains around Angel Fire is glorious. This home is located high up with glorious views of the mountains across, and Angel Fire valley below. Every morning the view was different and fun. You'll have wonderful privacy - save for the the mini-bears, mule deer, occasional fox, elk, and humming bird. We were thrilled with every aspect of our stay. Yeah for Holly for sharing!"

  • What a wonderful weekend we had!

"My sisters and I along with hubbys and kids took mom and dad to Ruidoso to celebrate dad's 80th birthday. There were 14 of us total and the 4 Bears Cabin was a wonderful choice. Plenty of room, sleeping arrangements were good and the accommodations were just as we'd hoped. It was a great time of family togetherness and no stress! The kids loved the hiking trails at the ski area and we loved the downtown shopping (of course). All in all, we decided we must come back and do it again! Thanks for a great time! Final comments about the cabin and area: Bonnie, the owner, was wonderful. She answered all my questions and emails quickly and with great information. The cabin was clean with plenty of cooking utensils from the cork screw to the crock pot and firewood for the wood burning stove. Sleeping arrangements are as follows: two master BR on main floor with king bed and full bath each, two BR downstairs each with queen bed, and one full bath downstairs. Loft has two twins plus a single sofa sleeper. Full sofa sleepers in main floor living room and downstairs living room. We also found the TV trays and folding chairs if you need them. Lots of spices in the cabinets to use in case you forget something. There are even some games to sit around and play in the evening. I would recommend more toilet paper for the group our size though :) We used the gas grill for burgers and fish, enjoyed the back deck while watching the deer and listening to the creek. Right after we arrived the power went out due to a storm rolling through but we sat around and planned the weekend while we waited for it to come back on. It might help to have a flashlight handy just in case. We also didn't plan for leftovers so bring your own containers or plastic bags if you're taking food home. I have definitely recommended to friends already and will continue to tell everyone about this jewel. Enjoy your stay!"

  • Santa Fe Historical Casita

"What a spectacular home base for a visit to Santa Fe. Private and quiet yet blocks away from the center of town. You are immersed in Southwestern culture in a beautiful home filled with lovely details. We couldn't have picked a better place for our first visit to Santa Fe and would certainly rent this home again."
