  • Fabulous, Comfortable Home near Old Town

"This listing was spot on to it's location and amenities. This home is spacious and comfortable and has unique qualities and charm. The photos were accurate - well in reality feels more spacious then the pics indicate. We found the property clean and maintained even found extra little blankets and such. And the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need. Robert was available for any questions and needs and very delightful to talk with and provide recommendations. We came to ABQ with extended family for our nieces wedding at Hotel Albuquerque. This location is walking distance to the Hotel and to Old Town which was perfect and also very close to Bosque trail and the Botanical Gardens. We recommend St. Clair Winery and Bistro and Church Street Cafe both walking distance - Fabulous food and surroundings! Enjoy the back outdoor settings of each! I would recommend this property to families who want to be together. The privacy that each section of the house allows ( the studio and loft) is very nice when traveling with extended family. We have already been talking about when we would make a return trip to ABQ and to this home."

  • Remote Beauty

"This is a wonderful isolated home with spectacular panoramic views from atop a mesa. The photos and description accurately depict the house, its views and amenities. One exception is that there is a soaking, but not jetted, tub in the master bath. The house itself is semi-circle in front to maximize views of Ghost Ranch, Abiqui Lake and the Pedernal Mountain. Spectacular sunrises were enjoyed from both inside and outside the home and the full moon rising over the lake was a special treat. Although we were there in winter, the front porch that wraps around the circular shape would be delightful in warmer weather. The home and kitchen were thoughtfully stocked with all that you need for comfort and convenience. All was very clean and well kept. Instructions for use of the house (including directions) were thorough. Description of local hikes and attractions were included in the binder. Having a fireplace with wood provided on site enhanced the cozy ambience of the house in the winter. The local Bodes store in Abiqui was about a 30 minute drive and had an amazing assortment of goods for a small store, but if you like to cook, food choices were better in the Santa Fe Wholefoods where we purchased groceries for our 5 night stay. Once you turn off the main paved road there is about 4 miles of unpaved gravel roads so having a vehicle with more clearance is suggested. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat. You can tell that this is Larry and Laurie’s home and not just purely a rental. We’ve already recommended this house to a neighbor and friend. I won’t describe things to see and do in the area as the homeowners have covered this so well in the information they provide."

  • Feels Like Home to Me

"Lovely little place in a great location. Every day we took a walk to the plaza. It's very comfortable with a front and back patio and even though it shares it's outside walls with the next door houses it feels private. The little plaza is secluded and feels very safe. One of the neighbors has lots of kitties and now that we're gone we miss them! We did have trouble with the altitude, but not not everyone will. We spent all of August in this little adobe and it was perfect for us."
