  • We had a great time!

"We enjoyed our stay in Angel Fire & this Mt. Pines condo. We were able to back in for an easy unload, and parking was close by. This condo is on the 2nd floor, so you have a flight of stairs, but it was nice not having anyone above you. There was a shuttle pickup very close by, and we never had to wait long to be picked up. Be prepared though, there is a charge of $1/person, coming & going. This has nothing to do with the condo...just a personal comment, as we & other skiers were not prepared. The condo was well stocked. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, and there were plenty of blankets & pillows. The Queen beds were very comfortable, but we have older kids: 17-24, so the bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom were a little small, so my boys took turns on the couch, and my two nieces took turns on the day bed. The owner was very responsive, as we had a few inquiries when we arrived, which we very much appreciated. Overall, a good place to stay in Angel Fire."

  • Dog Friendly Winter Heaven

"We chose this house for our first ever ski vacation due to the positive reviews, being dog friendly, and convenient location. Once we arrived, we really realized how convenient the location is and how charming and clean the house is! During our 5-day stay, we spent 3 days to Ski Apache (~ 40mins drive, as the mountain road only allows for 25mph) and the other 2 days explored the town and neighboring trails. We had 2 snowy days, and the experience of watching snow while having breakfast with family was surreal! Deers visited us almost every morning. Solid fence in the backyard to make sure our dog did not become an escapist. Fast Wi-fi, cable TV, many boardgames and movie DVDs. The open-floor plan allowed the whole family to enjoy the living room & kitchen & dinning table at the same time. Real fireplace was a surprise to us! We bought firewood from Thriftway and enjoyed the fireplace almost every night. Just a tip for people from more humid area (like us from Houston): it can get pretty dry especially when you have warm ac running. I will bring a humidifier next time we visit. And, yes, we will want to come back and recommend to friends!"

  • Spring Break stay

"I am pleased to say that this year's spring break was our most successful yet. The home is everything we had hoped. The hottub was a hit with our girls and did not disappoint! I would recommend this home for stay with but two notes. First, the beds are liken to that of the Goldilocks fairytale. The green room bed is very hard like the papa bear bed and the blue room bed only somewhat softer and of course the downstairs beds very soft with pillow top cushions . Second, bring your own pillows. The pillows provided are flat and scratchy. Again a wonderful stay"

  • Warm, beautifully decorated, fully equipped, spectacular location

"I'd been on a road trip for 2 1/2 months, staying at various VRBO and Airbnb homes all across the country, and this home was the VERY BEST place I stayed! Chris was so easy to communicate with. The home had everything we needed for our week long stay. Chris had many tips about what sites to visit during our trip. My two dogs were welcomed and there are great walks nearby that are dog friendly. The beds and linens are very comfortable, the home is quiet, and there are beautiful fireplaces for those chilly evenings. This is clearly a well loved home that the hosts regularly use themselves, which makes it a privilege to stay there. Thank you, Chris!"
