  • A Great Thanksgiving

"We had a terrific time in Santa Fe this Thanksgiving mostly because of the wonderful home. The home is beautiful inside and out and the owners have equipped it with everything you could need. Our two grown children were thrilled with the privacy of the bedrooms all with on suite baths. The patio made for a great spot for an evening meal, with a fire going it was the favorite resting area for all of us. Everything we wanted to see was nearby and convenient to get to. The owner is wonderful and was there when we arrived giving us a quick tour. Every room was such a great space it was hard to decide where you wanted to relax at. We were only able to stay 4 nights but it felt like home from the minute we arrived. Thanks again to the owners for making it such a memorable weekend."

  • Great Place to Stay!!

"We enjoyed the house very much!! Curt was a great communicator and made sure we knew everything about the house and what we could expect! Other than food, everything else was provided and the house was very clean and well kept. Plenty of beds and rooms for our group of 3 adults and 4 kids. Great central location in Angel Fire. We would definitely rent again!!!"

  • Quiet Solitude

"I come to the Taos area twice a year for extended stays due to training for my profession. This 1 BR guest house is the best location I have found for any long term stay. It is in a quiet neighborhood and has a fully stocked kitchen (you will want for nothing) to do your cooking and a washer/dryer to do laundry. Burt is an exceptional host and goes out of his way to make you feel at home and meet your needs. When an unexpected snow storm hit, he actually took his truck out and checked the road conditions for me as I only had a two wheel drive. You are close enough to drive into the thick of town in a few minutes, but can come home to your private, quiet nest. The unit is impeccably clean and large compared to most 1 BR casitas here. The bedroom and bathroom have beautiful carved doors for privacy if two or more are staying. You will love the kiva fireplace in winter and Burt supplies plenty of wood and personal lighting instruction. The unit also has baseboard heating so you don't have to rough it. The only down side is the spotty wi-fi reception on mobile devices such as Iphone and Ipad. Bring your laptop if you plan to work as that connection is better. The satellite TV keeps you in touch with the world if you desire. The bed is extra firm so I bring my own topper, but that is just personal preference. I'm already planning to stay here again in six months when I return for more training."
