  • Best location in Albuquerque!

"It's hard to describe how wonderful this location was! Staying here, you are 5-10 minutes drive from Old Town and all the museums (Natural History, Turquoise, Rattlesnake, Albuquerque Museum, Explora, etc.), 2 wineries, at least 3 breweries, The Pueblo cultural center, the Biopark aquarium, zoo and botanical gardens, Uptown's upscale shopping and dining, the Rio Grande Nature Center and so much more! We rarely got on the freeway during the month we stayed. The home is lovingly decorated including the owners own artwork and everything we needed was there. The king sized bed was super comfortable and we loved having the convenience of a full-sized washer and dryer. Quiet and comfortable. Enjoyed watching Netflix and the DVD's provided well as the retro TV series on the regular TV channels. The owners are lovely, talented people who cared deeply that our stay was amazing. We would definitely go back and would recommend this home to a friend without hesitation."

  • Absolutely Amazing!

"Our 2015 Easter weekend stay in the casita could not have been more perfect for my wife and I. The casita itself was large, private, and decorated nicely in the traditional New Mexican style. There were no amenities lacking, and the owners went out of their way to provide some extras (i.e., breakfast snacks, milk, orange juice, local site and restaurant resources, etc.) that made renting the home just a little more special. The ~5ac property was beautiful with breathtaking views of the high-desert landscape from atop the mesa, and the sunrises and sunsets were magnificent. Being located just outside of the city virtually eliminated all light pollution, and at night the moon and stars seemed close enough to pluck from the sky. Choosing to stay just outside of the city truly added an additional (much needed) dimension to our trip in which to completely relax and decompress from our busy home-life and the days visiting nearby attractions. That being said, the property is conveniently close to the world-famous Santa Fe opera grounds, numerous art galleries, the Santa Fe square, as well as the spa at the Four Seasons Resort that my wife took advantage of. As an added bonus (as if this rental needed additional praise), the owners were welcoming, accommodating, and willing to share knowledge on local culture, places to eat, events, historical information, and more. They were friendly and eager to contribute richness to our trip, but did so without being intrusive in any way. We had such a lovely time, and cannot wait to go back to this casita. It truly was a perfect vacation."

  • First visit to Ruidoso

"Our family loved staying here. The property is exactly as promised on this site. All of the rooms were nicely furnished and we had more than enough space. It was our first trip to Ruidoso and we were very glad we picked this location. It is minutes from town - not far, but far enough to be very private. The kids spent a lot of time in the hot tub and we enjoyed watching the deer from the porch every night. Highly recommend!"

  • Wonderful place!

"My daughter arranged for a 3 night stay - Mom & Daughter vacation! The house is nicely decorated with interesting and fun western art. The owner is EXTREMELY thoughtful of her guests - she knew we were hikers and left lots of trail maps, left us fresh eggs, and the house has: bbq, washer/dryer, cooking, movies. My daughter slept on the futon and it was comfy. You will want to get your groceries when you are in town. There isn't a stove but we used the BBQ and the plug in burner for dinner & breakfast. The steam train was great - we splurged on the first class seats and it was amazing. We saw elk, tons of deer, and antelope from the train. There were many deer - be careful driving at night. There are lots of fish in the local rivers. The house is conveniently located to some beautiful hiking and scenery. Check out Tierra Wools to see weaving, dying, and beautiful tapestries - hand dyed wool yarn - beautiful. And a final note - the owner was helpful, professional with the financial transactions, thoughtful about her guests. She is a gracious host. She gives you complete privacy - and we felt completely comfortable staying at her guest house."
