  • Authentic Taos Experience

"This Taos Adobe home is the authentic choice for a lifetime Taos adventure and memory trip! We planned a trip to sink into Taos just as the locals do, with very little tourist time, and sacks full of everything unplugged. This home was our Adobe perfection! Filled with antique touches, taste, a history filled grace and love for the landscape, both inside and out. Aiello Road has a tucked away kind of quiet would not know you were just a few miles from the center of town. Our week long stay allowed us to cook most nights on the pinion fire and we shared the courtyard with mugs of spice tea and numerous hummingbird friends. Great spots for warm conversations and for these appreciation of the cool New Mexico summers. We did not want to leave, this home left an impression on us and we will be back soon to visit our new found friend. Thank you, thank you Melissa for sharing your home and your passions."

  • Kitty, Guido, and Luigi's Casita

"This casita near the small village of Arroyo Seco and close to Taos is a lovely getaway. It's peaceful, quiet, and perfect for enjoying the night sky. The casita has a privacy fence which makes it seem even more secluded. The casita is well-maintained and has been carefully decorated with unique items that have a southwest flavor--many of which appear to be from local artists. The casita is comfortable and homey. While the loft bedroom takes a couple of trips up and down to get used to, eventually it becomes a part of the casita that it special. The home owner is gracious and welcoming--a bottle of wine and fresh flowers were unexpected touches. And, of course, there are Guido and Luigi, the wonderful black Labs that are very "people friendly." The next time we plan to be in the Taos area, we'll arrange our schedule so that we can stay here. We highly recommend it."

  • Texas ladies trip

"We had a ladies trip to Santa Fe the last week of October and we had a wonderful time and the house was just perfect for the 5 of us. The pictures are exactly as it looks except maybe for the bedspreads. Very clean, beds and pillows very comfortable (I'm very picky about these two), showers wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped, but we didn't cook very much, mainly breakfast. It has a fireplace, but it was too warm to use it. The house is really perfect for a group. We had plenty of room for all our stuff and for just lazing around in front of the TV. I would recommend this to anyone. PS. It is in walking distance of the Square, BUT several blocks. Still worth it."
