  • Peaceful Gateway

"it is a very quiet and peaceful cabin. The first morning I was awaken at about 6:30 with the bugling of an elk. I got up in a hurry and opened the curtain to see the biggest bull elk I have ever seen along with his harem. We saw deer in the yard everyday. We especially enjoyed the doe with her two fawns, who visited every day. The cabin was well stocked with dishes and appliances. There was plenty of food items and spices. The cabin is back from the main road, so it is very quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the big porch and watching the birds and squirrels. It has plenty of parking and is easy to get in the cabin. We enjoyed fishing at Monte Verde Lake and Eagle Nest Lake and caught a lot of fish. We took trips to Red River, Taos, and other destinations along the Enchanted Circle Drive. We really enjoyed our stay even though we had to leave two weeks early because of an emergency at home. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone."

  • Great Ski Vacation

"We stayed in this lovely house for a week during Spring Break. The house is very close to the ski area, about a three minute drive and the views from the deck are amazing. We really liked the layout of the house. The upstairs has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a loft area. Our kids loved having the whole upstairs to themselves (TVs in both rooms but no DVD player). The master is downstairs along with the laundry room, kitchen and living room. The sunken living room was cozy, with comfortable leather furniture and a fireplace (we made smores almost every night). The kitchen is off of the living room, so we could see the kids while we were preparing dinner or using the grill on the deck. There aren't very many restaurant options in Angelfire, so we used the kitchen and grill a lot. Taos and Red River are both about a 30-40 minute drive from Angelfire and the Vietnam Memorial in Angelfire was nice. We wanted a cozy mountain retreat to come home to after skiiing, and we found that in this home. Thanks for having us!"

  • Awesome house

"What an awesome weekend! Beautiful home and beautiful view. We took a girlfriend for her 30th birthday she loved it and so did the entire party. We took a Taxi to and from town but the price for taxi was not bad just took about 25 minutes from the house to wherever we went. Overall I would defiantly recommend this house."

  • Perfect Home Away From Home

"My husband and I recently visited Santa Fe for a week and were charmed by this casita from the moment we opened the door. We've rented a number of vacation properties in the past and this is definitely the best yet. Wonderful neighborhood, quiet and peaceful patio and yard, extremely comfortable king size bed, short walk to center of town plus easy freeway access. The gracious owners had coffee, juice, yogurts, chips, salsa and more, all awaiting our arrival. We highly recommend and would love to return."
