  • Wonderful summer stay!

"We have stayed here five different summers with family and think it is the perfect place to get away and relax and enjoy the New Mexico mountains. The cabin is large and roomy with a very nice layout. The main kitchen is open and accessible to all as well as to a main porch which overlooks the beautiful valley below. We love the many bedrooms and bathrooms which allow for privacy for each couple/family, while allowing us time to be together and enjoy family time as well. We do lots of birding from the porches and in the area and recommend it highly for bird lovers! There are so many great things to do in the area--hikes, zip lines, jeeps, Vietnam memorial, and all the lures of Taos as well -- it couldn't really be much better! We love the fact that the cabin is secluded, affording lots of privacy. The porches are a huge plus for us because we love the views, the birds, and the family time there! A great place to go! We have nothing but positive experiences with the maintenance and cleanliness of the property or with the responsiveness of the caretakers and owners. Everything has always been excellent. We do a lot of cooking at the cabin itself and appreciate the availability of cookware, dishes, etc., enough to serve a large group. We have enjoyed the theater room greatly over the years and always bring a good selection of DVD's! We recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful spot for a vacation."

  • Stop Looking. Stay here.

"Take the advice of two picky adults who have recently stayed in 9 vacation rentals across the country, Biscochito Casita is great. Stayed in it for a little over a month. Prime central location, walking distance to all of downtown Santa Fe attractions and fantastic restaurants. Casita is all owner claims and more, private, great temperature thanks to thick adobe walls (8 degrees while there but toasty inside), light and bright, well organized and pristinely clean. Victoria is a pleasure to work with and get to know, professional, timely and personable, a warehouse of Santa Fe knowledge, a fine artist, and gives a great massage. We will be back."

  • Perfect location and lovely home

"My boyfriend and I and both of our parents spent 5 nights at Gallery LouLou and had a great time. We visited during a cold spell (lows in the teens) and so parts of the house were a little chilly, but with the heat on, space heaters going, and lots of blankets (nobody was cold in the cozy beds!), we survived. :) Otherwise there was nothing I would have changed about the property. It was very conveniently located (we walked to dinner every night), had plenty of space, a great kitchen and living room for communing, and an extensive built-in speaker system for musical entertainment (CD player as well as record player, with CD/record collections ready for the playing). And LouLou was incredibly warm and receptive, happy to help whenever we needed her (though we never did). I would definitely recommend this house to others!"

  • What A Place!

"Had a great stay at the chalet. The pictures really don't do it justice. My group had two chefs in it, and they raved about the kitchen. So nice to be able to have a meal as a group and watch the snow falling on the mountain. The living room is spacious and comfortable - we could all hang out there and "visit". We were there over Super Bowl weekend and the set up was perfect to watch the game. Location is ski on/off, located right next to a trail, and this is not common for Taos. Really a great experience and I would highly recommend it for people looking for a great place to stay in the ski valley. We were lucky to be on the mountain as Taos was hit with 14 inches of snow while we were there. Had we stayed in the town of Taos we may not have made it up to the mountain!"
