  • River Relaxation

"Fantastic home will all the luxury of a 5-star hotel. The views can not be beat and the location is right in the middle of all the local attractions, hiking, springs and more! We will definitely return and make this our weekend get away!"

  • Wonderful Casita!!

"The previous reviewers capture this casita perfectly. It scores a "10" for location, appearance, comfort, amenities, price, etc. We loved our stay here. If one of us wanted to stay up later, or get up early, they could relax in the beautiful living room, while the partner slept. SO much nicer than a hotel room! Management was very responsive to two minor issues. We would highly recommend this casita."

  • Comfortable and lovely

"My partner and I spent two nights at Julianna's lovely place in Bernalillo just around the time of the Balloon Fiesta. The furniture was comfortable. The bed was perfect! We stayed 5 different places during our New Mexico trip, and the bed at Julianna's place was definitely the best. It felt new and simultaneously soft and firm; just right! (My body is very particular about beds.) The place was very nicely decorated with art on the walls in every room. Looking closer, we noticed the art was signed by our host who had apparently been too humble to mention it was her art on the walls. Julianna was very sweet. She recommended a great restaurant just around the corner, "The Range." Later on our trip we discovered "The Range" was renowned as far off as Santa Fe, and for good reason; the food is delicious & reasonably priced, excellent service, and nice art all over the walls (including some of Julianna's art!) Julianna told us how she had rebuilt part of the house. I particularly loved the windows she put in; especially the round one in the living room. My only word of caution is that the stairs are not quite standard and may be difficult for people with leg or hip problems (which I also have, so I noticed, but was able to manage.) For me it was worth the stairs to sleep in that wonderful bed. All in all, the place was quite lovely, well equipped (full kitchen, linens, etc), comfortable, conveniently located, and the host was quite lovely too. Highly recommended."

  • End of summer family reunion

"The house was beautifully and thoughtfully furnished. We were welcomed by a caretaker who stopped by with a message from the owner and answers to questions we might have had. Some of our group (in a nearby rental) were rockclimbers and were happy with several adventures. The house is situated so that we spent time in Taos and explored surrounding sites as well."
