  • Great place w/a lot of stairs

"Would have been helpful to know there was a lot of stairs. Might have picked a different place. A two year old and stairs is scary. Nice place but already sore from skiing than stairs was an extra workout."

  • wonderful!!

"This home has all the charm and character and comfort reflected in the pictures and the earlier reviews. The location is ideal; parking is easy; and the host is thoughtful and generous -- met us on arrival and provided a basket of treats to make sure we had everything from morning coffee to afternoon wine, chips and salsa. What a great and authentic Santa Fe experience!"

  • Great Santa Fe House

"We rented this house for two months while we remodeled our kitchen at our home in Santa Fe. It was like taking a great vacation in your hometown. The house is in a perfect location. We walked to Downtown Subscription for coffee everyday. You can walk to Canyon Road to see all the galleries. We walked out to lunch and dinner in town. We had our two dogs with us and it was perfect for them. The master bedroom is huge with a wonderful bed. In fact, I am going to buy the same bed for new bedroom! Rent this house for any length of stay in Santa Fe. You will love it!"

  • Quaint Southwestern Country Getaway

"I spent two weeks at the guest house and the property, as well as the town of Dixon, has hooked me for life. The guest house is nestled on a large lot amidst the hills of northern New Mexico with a rolling creek immediately off the back deck. The sound of the water and gorgeous scenery beyond are nourishing to the soul. This late October and early November revealed brilliant autumn colors in every direction, making the experience even more memorable. The guest house, while seemingly small and simple in the photos, lives large and is well laid out for comfortable dining, lounging and sleeping. Great for one or two people on retreat. The town of Dixon is rich in New Mexican history and is teeming with friendly people, art, a suprisingly well-stocked grocery and an outstanding local cafe. Just a little further away are more activities at the Rio Grande Gorge, Taos and Santa Fe. The hosts are very personable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with, while being respectful of your privacy. I can highly recommend this property to anyone needing to get away from the big city to unwind, reconnect with nature or be close to the action without being right in the middle of it. This was a memorable getaway and I look forward to returning time and again."
