  • We love the Atrist's Atelier!

"We have stayed at this property twice and the pictures really do not do it justice. We have a nine year old and a thirteen year old and it is just perfect. Our kids love the yoga loft. It is like a tree house. I like that the tv is in the basement so the layout accommodates family movie nights and game time in the main living space without a tv blaring at you all of the time. It is so serene and inspiring to be surrounded beautiful and interesting art. We love the location, just a short walk from the shopping and dining in the historic business district. We rarely use our car while we are there. This visit when we arrived, the heat and hot water were off due to a power surge. Even though it was Thanksgiving day, the owner was kind enough to walk us through how to get everything back on and send some one to check on us and bring us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. We hope to get to stay here many more times."

  • Writer's Retreat

"I wanted a nice, quiet place without traffic, noisy neighbors, or barking dogs, and this home filled the bill for allowing me to complete two writing projects during my month in the badlands north of Tesuque. This place is even lovelier than the pictures show. The pinions have come back after the bark beetle invasion, and there is a stunning view of the Santa Fe Opera House from all the front windows over the terrace. The Four Seasons Resort is just over the ridge for a deluxe restaurant and even well-marked hiking trails. There, Hans and Marge run Adventure excursions and can arrange any sort of special outing. Down in Tesuque there is also the more informal Village Market with terrific pizzas and home-made pies. The easy drive into Santa Fe brings you first on the right to the Santa Fe Spa, the only real gym in town, where everyone works out. In recent years I have spotted Daniel Craig, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Neil Patrick Harris pumping iron. You never know who you will run into in Santa Fe!"

  • Perfect home and perfect views

"this was our second time to stay in this home. this past time was for ten days. It is such an easy home to just settle into. Spotless and everything you could possibly need. It was just the two of us this time but we were with another couple last year. Could easily accommodate three couples. The views absolutely cannot be beat....anywhere. Every direction you look is perfect and there are windows for every direction. The pictures are exactly what you get. Have stopped looking for the perfect home in Taos....this one is it."
