  • Great Location

"We spent a week at Amistad casita in September and found the location perfect for our taste. Close to the Plaza, but quietly residential. Excellent walking distance to Canyon Rd., and easy access to Museum Hill, Harry's Roadhouse etc. The Casita is immaculate and well provisioned. The bedroom is small, but comfy. Wifi connection is adequate for casual reference, but not for typical workload. The cleaning fee is high for the property."

  • nice place

"Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice place. Scheduling was a problem since I had emailed that I wanted a different (less expensive) unit and was told that I needed to call them. I waited to call during business hours the next day then was told that someone booked the unit over night online which I wasn't told was an option."

  • Great Escape

"My grown daughter and our two (small) dogs stayed at this casita for a week in late October. The house is colorful, comfortable and a bit quirky (step up, now step down) but we didn't mind. Our Corgi was a bit confused by the steps but after a couple of days he was a pro. The weather was perfect, in between summer and ski seasons. The house had everything we needed, and the washer-dryer was particularly appreciated. It was also very quiet; we were never bothered by neighborhood noise. There is a school next door where you will hear the children playing at recess but really, is that noise? We enjoyed great meals at Michael's Kitchen (southern pecan pancakes to die for), veggie burgers at the Ale House and vegetarian entrees at La Cueva. Chris was so easy to work with while making arrangements, I would not hesitate to recommend her and her sweet house."
