"We had a wonderful week at Northstar, the cottage had everything we needed. The views were amazing and our host and her family were awesome. I highly recommend the outdoor bed! We brought out 18 mo old and found everything to be safe including the fenced in back yard."

"This visit was amazing. The house was very clean, all necessary kitchen supplies were there and the location was perfect! I was just a 5 minute drive to the slopes so we could easily go back to the cabin for lunch. The backyard view was breathtaking and I'd totally go again with my family. Fabulous!"

"I rented this lovely home for two weeks. A group of girlfriends shared it the first week, and our multi-generational family stayed here the second week. (We rented a crib and other baby needs from a local service; ask Jesse.) The house and the area worked beautifully for all of us. The house is filled with perfect details (Indian artifacts, western antiques, textiles and art work); it is, nevertheless, very comfortable. There was plenty of room to spread out and have some privacy. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and serving. In other words, this home was both lovely, well furnished and comfortable.
The area offers peace and quiet, but it IS an easy drive to the Plaza and other sites. We visited Bandelier National Monument, Taos, an Indian pueblo on a feast day, and a rodeo as well as lots of great activities in Santa Fe (great restaurants, Santa Fe Cooking School, galleries and museums.) Our six-year-old loved playing on the patio and swinging in the hammock. He listened for coyotes every night.
Obviously, we had a great time. I would certainly recommend this Casa de Oso home to you. Also, having rented other VRBO properties, this was a bargain!"
