"Our Father's Day fishing group arrived just as the heavens opened, and for two days we had sheets of rain keeping us housebound - but what a house. The fully stocked kitchen featured a new oven. In honor of the new deer head mounted in the great room, our first dinner was venison steaks. On our third day the rivers came down and we were able to leave the backgammon, jigsaw puzzles and poker and head out for some delightful fly fishing. But our favorite activity was gathering on the remarkable screened porch after yet another marvelous meal and recounting our fishing experiences of the day. We're already planning our "threepeat" of a Keene Valley fishing trip centered at Aunt Dora's cabin."

  • Wonderful trip!

"Cozy cabin with a mountain in the backyard! We had an absolutely delightful stay at this very comfortable cabin in the Adirondacks. Our dog loved going for walks up the mountain that is right behind the house. The owner was exceptionally thoughtful and the best I have ever dealt with. He even put wood in the fireplace for us and popcorn in the popcorn maker! We would definitely come back."

  • North Creek /Gore Mountain Chalet

"We had a great weekend - house was perfect for our needs. Close to Gore mountain and village area for groceries/reataurants. Kitchen was well stocked and house was a great layout. Open upstairs and great for relaxing and cooking meals. Bedrooms were decent sized and linens etc provided so it was nice and easy. Owner was very easy to contact and went out of his way to make sure we were all set. Highly recommend!!"

  • Quiet, Peaceful, Relaxing

"My husband and I chose Church Pond for our first anniversary, and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. We didn't want to stay in a hotel (we wanted to be able to make our own meals) and this was perfect. From the boats on the pond, the hot tub, the fire pit and the fully stocked kitchen- we couldn't have asked for a better place. We enjoyed every second of our mini vacation. Thank you so much for sharing your piece of serenity with us! We hope to be back again!"
