  • Amazing Lakefront Escape!!

"Don't know where to start! The house was absolutely immaculate upon arrival, I'm talking clean like we were the first people who ever discovered this place. It was very nice to have everything you could ever need from fresh linens to every kitchen gadget, brand new grill, wifi, washer/dryer, to kayaks, floats, life vests, etc.... This was a very nice escape from the madness that lake George can become but close enough that if you decide to venture out its convenient. Sixflags, Martha's ice cream, and glen falls are all around the corner, but you'll soon realize as we did that there really is no reason to leave! Many nights were spent lakeside by the fire pit watching the stars and lake. Days consisted of kayaking, fishing, swimming on the sandy bottom lake front, and drinking many a cold adult beverage on the lake front lounges! Ospreys have a large nest next door and they are quite the sight to watch grab more fish than me or any of my group could catch on rod and reel! All in all not a single complaint, met owner and she's a doll, super accommodating! Can't wait to return for this new family tradition!"

  • relaxing mountain home

"The chalet is well equipped with every day amenities and is a charming place to relax and extremely comfortable. We lived on the screened in porch which allowed us to enjoy the outdoors even on a rainy day. The caretaker Lilt, was very friendly and helpful. A short drive/walk to the beach, which is very well kept. And we could leave our boats there without worry. The lake is crystal clear and clean with a sandy bottom. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing on the lake, without having to bring our boats back to the house every day. Being a family of skiers this is an ideal place for a winter holiday. Nice and close to route 87."

  • Wonderful experience and highly recommended

"My family and I traveled 18 hours to vacation in upstate NY so we reviewed several rentals. I'm so glad we selected this camp and we had a wonderful experience. First, the camp is very clean and well maintained with all of the necessities. The owner was very responsive in ensuring we were accommodated. Next, the camp is very charming and inviting. In particular, there is a fabulous, enclosed porch that overlooks the lake. The porch has a dining area and sitting room that is very cozy. It has an eclectic, Adirondack charm and I could have stayed there all day. It gets better…there is also an outdoor porch that also overlooks the lake. Also, there were potted plants, Adirondack benches, a hammock, and other finishing touches around the home to make it special. The morning we departed, we decided to feed the ducks with some bread that the owners provided. I wasn't sure if there would be any ducks given that it was 6:00 a.m. However, we were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by 6 ducks as well as a beautiful loon! The owners obviously put a lot of effort and care into their camp to make it such a great place. We highly recommend this camp and would rent it again."
