  • Wonderful vacation cottage on Willsboro Bay/Lake Champlain

"This was one of the most pleasant vacation cottages I have ever rented. The size is perfect for 2 to 6 people and it is extremely clean and comfortable in every way. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing great meals, the living room is very homey and there is a great view of the lake from almost every room of the cottage. I appreciated having cable TV, internet and good cell phone reception. The bathroom is modern with a wonderful shower and the beds are extremely comfortable. The house is located right on the shore of Willsboro Bay and has an amazing view north into Lake Champlain and a view west so you can see the Metroliner snake through the mountains on its way to Montreal. The dock is great for boating but it's also wonderful for pulling out at chair and reading a good book or just watching the light change over the water. Swimming is excellent here because the bottom is sandy and the water very clear. Also, it's protected because speed boats do not come into the area except to dock. The town of Willsboro is fairly quiet, but very pretty and has a variety of very accessible activities - a lovely 9 hole golf course, well-maintained public tennis courts and nearby hiking. There are two market/gas stations close by with all the necessities and excellent meat counters, so you don't have to go far for groceries. The two close-by marinas have restaurants, so dining out is convenient. Bicycling is perfect along Corlear Drive because it's fairly flat with very little car traffic. The owner was very personable, responsive and very pleasant to work with. What more can I say? I can't wait for next summer!"

  • Beautiful House!

"We stayed here over Christmas and it was beautiful! It's right on the lake (only steps to the water) and the peace and quiet was wonderful. It's a large home perfect for families. Pets are OK here and my dogs were welcome! It's close to restaurants and skiing. Less than 3 miles to Hickory Mountain and 11 miles to Gore! Warrensburg is a quaint town and the gateway to the Adirondacks. If you forget anything there is a grocery store, too. The house is gorgeous. There is a beautiful brick fireplace in a living room with soaring ceilings. You can sit by the fire and look out onto the lake. Plenty of bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has doors that open onto a little balcony that looks out over the lake. Everything is included: linens, dishes, etc. All in all, a great place to spend Christmas and we will do it again!"

  • Girls Getaway

"Great spot for a Girls Getaway. Cozy charming little apartment, just the right size for the four of us for a weekend away. Loved how the place was decorated, very Adirondack cabin feel to it. Owners were nice and helpful, nice shops downstairs that each had. Perfect location to walk around Bolton Landing, check out the shops, the restaurants, easy walk to the Sagamore and the beach. Great place for a quiet little getaway. Nice area to go shopping at the Outlets which are not far away or you can go for a beautiful hike in the mountains choosing a tough hike or one like Thomas Mountain with beautiful views."

  • 39 year College reunion

"A group of nine of us had our annual reunion (4 nights) at this beautiful house and found it a perfect size and very comfortable. We were 9 men so we used a couple of Aerobeds. If you need the downstairs bedroom warm leave the fireplace off and let the furnace do the job. There was plenty of hot water and with 4 bathrooms never any wait. The kitchen while beautiful could be a little better equipped ( a few more utensils ) but no big deal. All in all a 5 star house. Apparently it is for sale so I can only hope it will be available for our 40th"
