"Five female kayakers, all 60 years old plus, could not have picked a better place to stay for three days in order to paddle the Adirondack waters. This home is located right on the shore of beautiful Upper Saranac Lake and comes supplied with all that you might need. As you enter the house, you walk up a short flight of stairs to a fully stocked kitchen, a master bedroom and bathroom, a warm living room with a gas fireplace to take away any chill, and another full bathroom. Walk down the stairs to two comfortable bedrooms and a full bath. It is the view that is amazing and owners Mike and Chris have created a variety of places to enjoy the water! Sit on the porch or by the firepit. Enjoy the seating at the dock. Better yet, climb the stairs of the boathouse and sit atop in Adirondack chairs (my favorite spot by far!) to enjoy the view of distant mountains or the starry night sky. If you paddle, this is the place for you. An easy put-in allows you to kayak for miles. You might see eagles, osprey, or other wildlife as well as many of the Adirondack great camps. Just a short hop down the road is the famous Wildlife Center at Tupper Lake -- an absolutely first-class museum of the Adirondacks. Saranac Lake and Lake Placid are also nearby with skiing, hiking and world-class restaurants. The house is clean, comfortable, and complete with anything you might need. Definitely five stars!"

"This home is a beautiful place to get away and it has everything. The Four Seasons allowed four generations of our family a place to spend time together when visiting the area for a wedding. It is charming and cozy. We enjoyed just sitting on the deck taking in the scenery. The kids loved that the deer come so close to the property. You feel like you are in the wilderness but you are literally one block away from the main street so you can walk to everything. We are hoping to go back when we can spend more time."

"This is the good life. A place to forget what isn't necessary and to remember what matters--family, good friends, tall tales, and deep laughter. The very comfortable and nicely kept house suited our large group. So many places to gather and even more to escape for solitude. Kayaks were a special treat in the early mornings and evenings. The fire pit was a nice touch as we played music beneath the Milky Way--a truly beautiful night sky here.
The view of the lake is spectacular and the house is situated with sun all day long. We so enjoyed the sounds each morning--the early calls of loons, the lapping shore keeping time outside our window, small boats leaving for favorite fishing spots. What a lovely place to spend a few days 'out of time'.
Thank you, Mike, for your sailing lesson, offers of fishing (we don't), and shared music (he does). Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves lakes as we do."

Clean House within Walking Distance to Track and Town
"We rented the house for opening weekend at the track and it was a pleasure. The house was neat and clean when we arrived, and incredibly spacious for 8 ladies with lots of luggage. There was sufficient parking in front of the house on the quiet street, and the supermarket and liquor/wine shop were within walking distance or a 2 minute drive. We took the 15-20 minute stroll to the track and the following day walked the 10-15 minutes into town for restaurants and shopping. The owner, Lily, was incredibly responsive and even checked-in with us via e-mail during our stay to make sure we were doing well. Us ladies truly feel in love with Saratoga and I highly recommend this property."
