"If you're looking for a secluded and tranquil location just steps from Lake Champlain, yet within a short driving distance of numerous activities and places of interest, then this is your vacation spot. Deep in the woods, and right on the lake, you'll find this spacious and comfortable house with the most amazing porch and views. The house comfortably slept two adult couples - the kitchen was large and well-equipped, and the living room was inviting with a large stone fireplace (as another reviewer suggested, the pictures don't do this place justice). The house is private enough that you're unlikely to see neighbors unless you venture out in the canoe, then you can get a view of the other homes nearby.
If you are looking for off-site activities, this location will also suit your needs. The town of Willsboro has several cute restaurants and shops and there are local hikes and places to kayak within a short distance. Essex is another lovely town just 20 minutes down the road and a place to access a ferry to take you across the lake to Vermont. There it is worth exploring Burlington and Shelburne, and their maple ice cream. On the New York side and heading west, Lake Placid and Saranac are within 45 minutes or so.
The owner was a pleasure to work with and offered fantastic tips and recommendations. We hope to come back to this place again in the future!"

"This was our families' first visit to Lake Champlain and it won't be our last. This camp is spotlessly clean, well maintained and contains everything needed for a great vacation. The location, above all else is simply amazing. great for swimming, boating, campfires, star gazing and just relaxing. The thing that puts it over the top however, is the personal care and concern shown by Bobbi and Randy and their family. Thanks again for a wonderful time."

"We had a wonderful time staying in this house for a week. We were there with the two of us, our three sons age 18-21 and our 87 year old aunt (who uses a walker). The house is beautiful, with views of the lake throughout most of the house, including the screened in porch and the master bedroom. There is also a nice beach and dock, with kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. The boys were happy that there was Wi-Fi, and our aunt was happy that she could sit on the porch and drink coffee and read.
In addition to just hanging out and relaxing, we used the house as a jumping off point to visit Burlington, VT one day (and Ben & Jerry's) and Montreal another day. Each was about 1-1.5 hours away, so easy to get to. We also did two days of hiking in the Adirondacks, one about 45 minutes away in the High Peaks region and the other about 30 minutes away.
Hosts Tom and Sarah were great - very responsive to any questions we had. We highly recommend this house."
