"My multi-generational family used this well-appointed cottage to explore northern Vermont and the Lake Champlain Valley and the High Peaks of the Adirondacks. The location is stellar. Incredible lake views fill nearly every window. The cottage itself is beautifully designed and decorated. In addition we loved the kitchen and grill. We shared several delicious family meals on the deck. The deck was also a fun vantage point to watch members of our group kayak for the first time. The owners have created a welcoming lake cottage and helped to assure a delightful week on the lake for my family."

"The view is amazing, any time of the day. The house is very clean, big rooms, great decor. It's not too far from downtown and yet it is so quiet. The waterfront is a pebble beach. My kid had so much fun throwing pebbles in the lake. The owners were available and very kind. I was there with my husband and my daughter who is 3 years old. We all loved it. You will be pleased !"

"Jack's Rock Cottage is a great old Adirondack place to stay with wonderful views of Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains of Vermont. You can sit in the house, on the deck, in the yard, or walk down to the lake and enjoy the views. House has plenty of bedroom and kitchen space. It also has three bathroom areas which is unusual for a house of this age. It was clean when we arrived and is maintained. Its location near the Essex Ferry makes it easy to visit Vermont or drive to anywhere in the high peaks region of New York. Owners are easy to work with and very helpful. Would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the area and understands this is a property built long ago but still has modern conveniences like a washer and dryer."

"We anticipated renting a cottage for the week and instead got a well maintained, clean home right on the lake. The location is second to none. The views are surreal. We would take the row boat out and could see the bottom of the lake a good 20 feet down. I have never seen anything like it. The trip to Plattsburgh is less than 40 minutes. It is about an hour to Lake Placid and an hour with a Ferry Ride which is always fun to Burlington. The home itself was spotless. The bedrooms all have queen size beds, which is nice with 3 sets of couples (no couple gets the twin beds room). The living space is open with plenty of seating around the tv, with a huge table in the kitchen. We had great weather and spent most of our time outside at the picnic tables for our meals. The owners are the most gracious hosts and are so eager and willing to help in anyway they can. They are nearby for your convenience but not overbearing. They are so kind I can't say enough about them. The process for renting was so easy from beginning to end. The attention to detail they pay to their renters and how they want you to feel as if it is your own home is priceless. We went up for a College Graduation and needed a place for a week. What we left with is a place we all want to return to year in and year out."
