"We had a wonderful week, starting with watching the final game of the World Cup and ending with an evening of kayaking and canoeing on Eagle Lake. We swam just about every day, hiked up 2 mountains (one hard, one easy), took out the canoe and the kayaks several times, used the bbq, played games in the evening at the long table, and croquet between adventures during the day. Everyone loved the week here - 3 boys, all teens (well, one 20-yr-old), my husband and me too. Early mornings were quiet - just us sipping coffee, reading by the windows and sometimes hearing the loon. Nights were peaceful and falling asleep to the sound of the loon, an owl and the breeze in the trees was very relaxing and we wished it could have been 2 weeks. There is plenty to do, but you have to drive a bit - always worth it. The Adirondack Museum was just over an hour (but great), hikes everywhere, a day over to Vermont well worth it, and so much to do we could not get to. No wifi for these otherwise addicts, and no complaints all week. Hope to make it back. It was lovely, the house was very clean, very comfortable, very well-outfitted and very private. The owner checked in to see if all was going well (via phone). Highly recommend this place!"

"This was the first time we stayed at this house but hopefully won't be the last! The location is near anything you want to do from hiking to jogging trails, kayak/canoe rentals, shopping in Bolton landing, Jumping spider Rock and any boating activity you can think of and we did it all. The view was spectacular - all meals can be eaten outside in the sun or shade depending on your desire and the weather.
Swimming off the dock was enjoyed by all and the water was crystal clear most of the time except when it stormed. We had a couple of stormy days but it didn't last all day so we were able to get in activities every day. The kids could snorkel around the dock and there's a great sand area you can walk into from the dock if you don't want to jump off the dock.
We had a family of 5 and we had plenty of room in the house. The house was very nice and kept very clean. The owners were very nice to work with and helpful with all of our questions. The outdoor fire pit was great for evening smores and just relaxing by the waters edge. Everything that you need is there. We really had a great time and can't wait to get back!"
