  • Beautiful House!

"We stayed here over Christmas and it was beautiful! It's right on the lake (only steps to the water) and the peace and quiet was wonderful. It's a large home perfect for families. Pets are OK here and my dogs were welcome! It's close to restaurants and skiing. Less than 3 miles to Hickory Mountain and 11 miles to Gore! Warrensburg is a quaint town and the gateway to the Adirondacks. If you forget anything there is a grocery store, too. The house is gorgeous. There is a beautiful brick fireplace in a living room with soaring ceilings. You can sit by the fire and look out onto the lake. Plenty of bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has doors that open onto a little balcony that looks out over the lake. Everything is included: linens, dishes, etc. All in all, a great place to spend Christmas and we will do it again!"

  • Amazing Home - made our family vacation PERFECT!

"We absolutely loved our vacation at this beautiful home on Lake George. Every view from the house is spectacular with colors glistening off the lake and mountains. We wish our home had a kitchen as fully equipped as this one and the bedrooms all had hotel quality mattresses. The sound system, DVD, and CD made our days a lot of fun. There are loads of books and games in this house and it is a short walk from the Silver Bay YMCA campus which has every activity you could want. A week is not enough here --- there is so much to see and do and our children loved their time here. The owners are great to work with and provided lots of travel suggestions too. We will definitely be returning to this great home again. THIS HOME IS A GREAT FIND --- you won't be disappointed."

  • Beautiful House with Great Location

"This lakehouse was clearly lovingly renovated and was great for our group. All of the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. It was slightly awkward that the fifth bedroom didn't have interior access but we made it work. It would also be ideal to have a bureau in every bedroom. The bathrooms were beautifully appointed and the kitchen had just about everything we needed. A microwave would be welcomed, though, for quick meals. The overall property was beautiful and the lake access was terrific. We appreciated having a dock to dock our rental boat. Having previously rented other houses on Lake George, we would definitely make this our first choice in the future!"

  • Great Vacation 2014

"We had a wonderful week, starting with watching the final game of the World Cup and ending with an evening of kayaking and canoeing on Eagle Lake. We swam just about every day, hiked up 2 mountains (one hard, one easy), took out the canoe and the kayaks several times, used the bbq, played games in the evening at the long table, and croquet between adventures during the day. Everyone loved the week here - 3 boys, all teens (well, one 20-yr-old), my husband and me too. Early mornings were quiet - just us sipping coffee, reading by the windows and sometimes hearing the loon. Nights were peaceful and falling asleep to the sound of the loon, an owl and the breeze in the trees was very relaxing and we wished it could have been 2 weeks. There is plenty to do, but you have to drive a bit - always worth it. The Adirondack Museum was just over an hour (but great), hikes everywhere, a day over to Vermont well worth it, and so much to do we could not get to. No wifi for these otherwise addicts, and no complaints all week. Hope to make it back. It was lovely, the house was very clean, very comfortable, very well-outfitted and very private. The owner checked in to see if all was going well (via phone). Highly recommend this place!"
