  • Great Location for Lake George Visitors

"We really enjoyed our two week stay at Horicon Hill after a four year absence. The newly remodeled kitchen was highly functional and well equipped for our group. The house was well maintained and we loved the new HDTV and Blu-ray DVD player. We thought that Cate's Italian Garden pizza was excellent but call ahead to order as they are packed at dinnertime. The house has lots of parking for cars and boat trailers."

  • Wonderful family rental, close to village yet private

"This house was a good fit for two families plus grandparents. The common rooms were large enough to accommodate our party of ten if we all wanted to be together, but there was plenty of room for us to spread out when we wanted time apart! The house was just as shown in the pictures. The covered patio and outdoor fire pit are really great features you won't find at other rentals. The location is fantastic if you want to be within walking distance of the village, but still have quiet and privacy. It was ~ five to seven minute walk to the village and Shephard's Park. We needed a stroller for the younger ones in our party (~ 3 years old). The Shephard's Park beach was great for the kids (age 3 - 7). There was no need to go to Million Dollar Beach. We found the beach rules to be very strict relative to what we are used to, and did not spend a lot of time there. Claire was very helpful before and during our vacation. The house felt like a home, and was nicely decorated. We would recommend this property to others. The Prospect Mountain hike (just behind the house) was very nice, but I would not recommend for small children. We really enjoyed Capri's pizza on the strip. We saw the Thursday night fireworks from Neptune's restaurant - great place for the whole family. If you are looking to get out of the village check out the Painted Pony Rodeo - also great for families."

  • Family Friendly Adirondack Condo

"We have a family of six so this condo was great.Everyone had a bed. This was the way to go for us instead of staying in a hotel. We did not mind being outside of the center of town. We enjoyed being able to soak in the jacuzzi tub and then relax in front of the fire after our long days of skiing. It was very quiet which was a huge plus! Beds were comfy, condo is very clean and neat and decorated in a wonderful Adirondack theme. We felt at home while we were away from home. We would absolutely stay here again!"

  • Adirondack Dream Home

"This was our second stay at Mercy Cabin and the stay was just as magical as the first. The cabin is close to everything including shopping in Lake Placid, hiking the high peaks, and we even stumbled upon a farmers market down the road during our stay. There is a beautiful deck to sit on and grill on which was great for the little bit of rain we encountered. The cabin is beyond beautifully decorated. My husband and I loved the bathtub so much that we remoded our own bathroom and purchased one ourselves. We even loved the sheets so much that we bought a set ourselves today (no kidding they were sooooo soft!). The cabin this year even had a Roku Box and Netflix. We even noticed the internet was quicker than the last time. To stay anywhere else you would just be robbing yourself of the most awesome Adirondack experience you could ever have...so look no further and book Mercy Cabin during your next Adirondack stay."
